Coll of kids Coll of kids 2 no doubt ABTs have played a major role and continuously do so. However, ABTs have not maintained the resilience of Vaccines. We have to continuously create new ABTs to treat the same microbial infections. Furthermore, it is always better to prevent a disease-the primary purpose of vaccines than wait for a disease and treat it-which ABTs do 👍

@@enoch8835more like smallpox was double stranded dna which did mean the vaccine usually would never need to be changed unlike the flu and Covid which do not have proofreading ability nor does hiv. The shot was also a one time and the infection was also a one time dose. In addition, it only infected humans which made smallpox a prime target for infection. Unfortunately we came sooo close to eradicating polio but still have some issues as it is very stable and the attenuated is a one time dose and only infects humans but unfortunately in Afghanistan and Pakistan it is still underdeveloped

No. The Smallpox virus is one of a number of vaccine-preventable viruses which are "human specific". This means the virus evolved to only infect people and thus it can not exist outside of human populations. So vaccinate enough people = and the virus is cut off from its host and dies out. Other human specific viruses by the way: MeV (Measles) + Poliovirus + Rubella Virus etc.. The SARS-CoV-2 virus on the other hand is "zoonotic" - as many viral pathogens are. As such it can exist in other species - it has already made the jump by the way - so that we can not eradicate it as it lives on in nature. So like with say Influenza - also zoonotic infecting other species - the best we can hope for going forward is to contain its impact via vaccination. 🤔

unfortunately this doesn't really work for covid because it mutates so much smallpox, despite its huge death rate, did not really mutate as much and thus was easily eradicable with a good vaccine.

@@FirstGentleman1 a vaccin will help in this case, it's a virus that can be transmitted through droplets and on surfaces so sanitation will only apply to my own house and will not extend further than that, like my workplace where i not only have to abide the sanitation rules myself, i have to rely on others to do that too. I'd rather be protected if the vaccin is approved and applied, than having to keep myself in quarantine. @@DrCatdeJong Vaccination is a dirty and primitive medical intervention. Going back even before Jenner and Jesty. The human immune system is far, far more complex than "raising artificial antibodies is all you need". So many have learned this the hard war, so many lives have been destroyed by this. The corona vaccine will destroy many lives right away, immediately. It will cause outbreaks among highly vaccinated groups. It will come with countless side effects. It will keep this disease alive and well. And the corona virus is not the plague or cholera in the 19th century, it's not even scarlet fever and that went away without a vaccine, in fact all three diseases mentioned. People will be punished to put their trust in something that's so easy and lazy. Go ahead and take this vaccine if you feel you must, I will never!
@DrCatdeJong
@DrCatdeJong 4 жыл бұрын
@@FirstGentleman1 variolation is the primitive version. And there are no artificial antibodies, your body makes them when they are presented with the antigen in the vaccin in the same way your immunesystem will produce them when you're infected, a vaccin has a dead/weakened or toxins the bacteria secrete in them. When your immunesystem fights them off, you create memory cells that produce antibodies the next time you're infected so the infection is fought off before you start showing symptoms. The difference is, that vaccins don't make you sick and the disease will. It's a common misconception scarlett fever just dissapeared without vaccins. It isn't a problem anymore because i's a bacterial infection and it's treated with antibiotics.

The judgment of God is not evil. We sinned and it is a result of sin. If God wanted to He could unleash a virus much worse so stop being so arrogant thinking humans are so great.

The Judgement of God is Evil. He enjoys sin and wants us to sin. If God wanted, he would unleash a virus from outer space just to enjoy his sins

Abhinav God is not evil. We are evil. We hate the one who gave us life and His patience is shown on how much we are rebellious towards Him and yet He holds His hand back from destroying everyone. He does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked this is scriptural. And scripture is true it is the word of God.

Abhinav you have a very high view of man and a very low view of God Satan had a high view of himself to and it caused His fall. We have all broken God’s holy law and deserve an eternity in punishment and torture for it for breaking the law of the only infinite and righteous God.

a ah ah life is so short. It is not worth gaining the world and losing your soul. You won’t take anything on the earth with you when you die so your eternity is what matters.

Humans think that they are most superior and approach everything in nature as consumer and so it is beyond the needs of them and it is mostly greed is the motive. Our intelligence is gift but we use it for exploitation.
