Check out the links in the description to the blog post, if you want you can book through my page, I know the surprises and pictures online can be very deceiving, I one booked a sea view place but someone build a new hotel in front of the hotel I booked after the pictures were taken, we have a view of an almost finished building....

Wow, very NICE indeed! You summed it up very well near the end, "Five Star hotel at Four Star prices and while breakfast was good, I see why you never ate dinner there, that Thai Street food is the BEST in the world!

There is so much good food there, wait till tomorrows video, its just down the coast, amazing food.

I have been to Koh Chang many times, but never stayed at that hotel due to it's location. I like it more quiet then White Sand Beach. But I know many people that love this hotel, the service and food there. So it seems to be a very good choice on that beach.

I like the quiet areas too, but at the same time walking distance to everything is also a good thing, the next review is on the White Sand Beach Resort, that is about as quiet as it gets, it could be a little nicer but still an amazing place.

great review i was just going to look at some places to stay when I go in april. i may consider this one now!

I really liked this place but there is plenty to chose from, I am working on a Koh Chang page on one of my websites, its a work in progress but might be interesting. thailandbeachdestinations.com/koh-chang/ When booking if you could go through my Agoda link (if you use Agoda) that would be awesome, makes no difference to me which hotel you chose I will get a small commission from it, I do recommend this place, there is one listed on my page as well that I did not stay at, comes highly recommended by a guy I know, worth looking into, beautiful place, just south of white sand beach.

i will for sure check your page out I was looking at another resort there called coconut resort and will check it out your link and will check out your page. thanks

Thanks Tommy, from what I have seen around there, there is lots of choice, April is probably going to be a bit more expensive than what I paid in Oct, the difference between high season and low season can be a lot. One hotel I stayed in a few years ago, was 1000 more on Nov 01 as compared to Oct 31, it's now the high season.....lol
@TommySeiger7 жыл бұрын
dang lol yes the price of going in high season lol. The white sand resort looked pretty cool on your page. thanks for the info will definitely do some research now before I book in a few weeks.
@lifeinthailand7 жыл бұрын
I will have a review on the white sand resort soon, an interesting place, and cheap, High season is Nov 01 till the end of May I think, makes everything more expensive, and there are the holidays like new years, and Songkran which puts the prices even higher, best to book early, does save money and gives you a lot more choice.

Looks like a really good hotel. A nice hotel breakfast, in my opinion, is a good indicator (at least in my area of So Cal) that the hotel is top notch. Do hotels there charge "resort" fees in addition to the room rate & tax? Here, a "resort" fee usually covers 24-hour parking, daily newspaper, sometimes free breakfast, wifi, fitness center, business center & use of pool.

Resort fee is a new one for me, and it's been a long time since I have even seen a newspaper....lol There are at least 2 taxes charged and you can normally book with or without breakfast, it is an extra charge.

Looked like a really nice place to stay odd that they don't have any parking you would think that would hurt their business. Maybe they get a lot of tour busses.
@lifeinthailand6 жыл бұрын
Not many people drive, mostly tours on busses or they leave there car on the mainland for some reason and take a taxi when they get to the island, the roads are crazy so that might be the reason for that, but still strange to not have any parking.

@lifeinthailand7 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that, I worked with a guy that had to get both hips and both knees replaced, he took an office job for about 2 years till he got mobile again, he didn't say much but I think there was a lot of pain involved for a long time. hope the recovery is short.
