Check out the brand new Erector 9 Silencer by Q LLC. It is a Modular 9mm Silencer that can be configured to different lengths depending on the needs of the user. Weighing in at only 8 oz. it is incredibly light, made out of both 7075-T6 Aluminum and 17-4 Stainless Steel.
I've shot it on a number of different hosts and it preforms and sounds great. If you are looking for a 9mm Suppressor that can work on a number of guns, from PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbines), to Sub Guns, to Pistols, I'd suggest taking a look at the Erect9r. It is a pretty rad new silencer from Q.

Wish there was a comparison video btwn the Erector (9mm) & the Banish 30 & Dead Air Odessa 9mm cans. All three seem to legitimately offer not only great sound suppression from what equalities can be assumed/overlooked in ammo selected, but also signature reduction - w/ the latter seeming to have the greatest degree of variance across cans while all eliminate the (likely) need for raised (suppressor) sights on your pistol given their small diameters

I remember an episode when you were at Q and talking to them about these. He mentioned something about how baffle numbers don't matter much up to a certain point when it comes to sound reduction. Like, it tapers off a lot at a certain point. That's one thing I remember him telling you when I was watching this video.

Thanks for the video! Don't think I would get one unless Q made a 3 lug module for it. Most of my pistol can shooting is on 9mm carbines and .38/.357 lever guns. That doesn't look like it would hold up to .357. I see you were using a booster on fixed barrels so assume they don't have a fixed barrel adaptor insert yet.

Would love to know how you'd clean it. With the baffles being coated for color and user-serviceable. Can't soak those or run it in an ultrasonic. Not even sure about tumbling. Cleanup is huge if it's not a sealed can.

Is anyone else having problems with their Erect9r? I have a new Erect9r, one of the first in black, and I've sent it back for repairs twice now. The first time was damage (a baffle strike) to the cone and edge of the cone of each baffle. They were responsive, sent it back fairly quickly, and took care of the shipping. The second time is for the endcap blowing apart This was just after getting it back from the first repair and was only about 100 to 200 rounds run through it. Now they don't have endcaps and it will be about 6 to 8 weeks minimum to get it back. Even worse now is that the whole thing needs to be sent in for repairs. so if it is lost in the mail, or stolen, there will be negative ramifications for future NFA purchases. Also, they don't actually manufacture these, someone else does, and they just assemble them.

Were you running a Piston with those carbines?? I thought that was a no no. I've ordered this can from SS and I'm very interested to see how long the eForm4 will take... I just stamped an SBR (form 1) through eForms and was shocked at how fast my application was approved. I submitted that eForm 1 on 11-11-2021 and received the approval email on 12-1-2021. From what I understand Q makes a DT adapter but Im hoping for a 3 lug at some point. My current PCC setup is an obsidian9 on a 3 lug. Great video and thanks!
