See this is an interesting take on it and one I considered - Slickdraw's 100 handling+ (accounting for stow speed) is genuinely a shot in the arm for any high impact fusion, and you bring up an excellent point re: spec'ing into range for AA benefits. It's just that with the AA cone penalty, this is going to feel genuinely loose and horrible for most people. For high impact masters this is a dream come true but for most the lack of "help" from the game is a dealbreaker. Very nicely presented video, excellent depth of info too!

Great video, but could I ask why not run Liquid Coils over Projection Fuse? That would make it 3-tap any level of Resilience at base with a difference of 0,967ms charge time to 1,007ms. That 40ms is hardly noticeable or am I missing something?

Because I usually hit 4 bolts, heck with this thing I'm usually hitting 5. Then there is the range issue, you want as much as possible for this to work, liquid takes away 10 range from me. On top of that, speed is everything to me. On some high impacts I even go charge time masterwork because that's how not worried I am about having to 3 bolt someone.

Slickdraw feels like it was made with all the slow, hard-hitting special archetypes in mind. I've seen people make great use of it on Mechabre, for example. The argument for it is that aggressive frame AA cones are already so small that a percentage decrease isn't really impacting you at all but the longest ranges. It may not be your pick if you're going for hip-fire trickshot snipes, sure, but 100 handling on heavy hitting specials just feels so good that you don't need to rely on aim assistance much anyway Slick (ha) video as always, I love that you take the time to do the slow-mo, frame interpolation, and masking for showing off the damage numbers. That feature is what made me sub in the first place, everything else is gravy

When it comes to perk selection, I'm always looking for what this gun, with these stats, with these perks, can do best. I don't want the best perks in general, I want the experience that only this weapon can provide me. I appreciate the way you really dig into the stats and search for what a weapon really does well. One question tho: why don't you bring up the Origin Trait much? That's a distinguishing characteristic of a weapon and it seems like it should always be taken into account.

Something you kinda left out of this is while sure Loaded question also has access to controlled, for dps eremite will most likely be better due to being solar. As of today hothead isn’t really as great as it once was and was dethrone by both Cold Comfort and Apex, with make eremite a tad better than loaded imo due to matching surge with apex.

@@Legoleflash on this front it isn’t that big of a deal depending on how you play your dps, if you go for something like Izi + ALH GL + Apex then swap to your fusion once apex is dry you actually dont really get anything from the enhanced perk due envious not proccing and controlled not granting you any benefice if enhanced and i dont think any other perk in the left column would really help for this specific application for both loaded and eremite since neither have rewind round

I was leveling a Midhas Reckoning in crucible, every time I tried using it I got killed while it was charging, I respawned and it was still charging, got killed again and it was still charging, then it finally went off and I missed every bolt to a warlock using some kind of speed burst glide to cover half the map in one jump. I can't say it was a fun experience in any way, and I don't see how this one will be either without some sort of charge speed up. I also can never get pre-charging to work for me, when I pre-charge they stay behind cover so I have to stop charging not to waste a shot, and as soon as I start charging again they pop out and 2-tap me before I can even get the charge to go off. I don't know how you are pulling this off in this video, but I call BS.

Maybe look into Stasis more on Elemntal Cap Fusions. Whisper of Hedrons. Huge boosts to stats such as Aim Assist and Stability when freezing a target. I do use it with my Stasis Warlock with Osmiomancy Gloves. Could be an option on Hunter and Titan. (Don't play the other classes much)

Yes, I have mine enhanced now. (Had no reservations) I don't notice that much of a difference? But I've also been dialing in my shot more since using slickdraw, so it could be either me getting comfortable with the weapon or enhanced actually doing work.

Slick draw honestly makes sense since you have a high impact fusion, so its range and dmg is already there whereas handling isnt and you can choose all range to make up the detriment plus its a fusion so the whole body is the optimal target vs precision which helps out its target acquisition.

It says "No effect on reticle stickiness" meaning slickdraw DOES NOT lower reticle stickiness. You still have the same stickiness with or without it.

I just focus them at the vendor table where Eris cutscene was. Just a chance at red borders through engrams.

SLICKDRAW! WTF I def believe you now when you say you crafted this 20 different ways lol. I usually hate long charge time fusions besides the Kings Fall one with backup plan/successful warmup. Once I craft this I will give it a go.

Haha I know! I'm in the same boat. You still have to do a ton of precharge, but man this one feel so different.

I just can't justify the charge time. Going from the riptide to this is painfully slow. Will be sticking to that and iterative loop until we get more low charge time fusions

Coming from someone who exclusively used Rapid Fires for quite some time, I understand. I think there are plenty of people this won’t appeal to, but this is one of only like 2 high impact fusions that truly appeal to me as a player who lives for the 1v3.

I run a Royal Executioner using Envious and Resevoir (PvE main), should I get that roll on an Eremite, which one would be more effective?

Just depends on how big of a punch you want. I personally like the gigantic punch from Eremite. Totally replaces Royal Executioner for me.

I have one with heal clip+reservoir that ice been using in pve until I get enough to craft one, and it's been an absolute monster on my solar builds. It's become one of my new go-to solar weapons this season. Can't wait to get it crafted so I can try out golden tricorn and just delete enemies in high level content
