The Europa (2000) - Part 1 of 3 - The Kit and The Company

I have personnally just acquired an Europa monowheel, and wanted to share this video with my friends, to brief them on this great aircraft. I found this VHS tape in storage, dating back to 2000. I feel this is a great explanation of the Europa concept.

I've been flying the Europa XS Monowheel for 7 years now and never looked back. I bought mine finnished and the guy who build it used 9 years and almost 3000 on it. I love taking my Europa out and everyone who sees it for the first time stops and have many questions on the configuration :) Mine is seriel nr 334 and has a 914 with the Airmaster constant speed prop. Cruising at 120kts IAS at 28MP burning less than 15 l/h. Love it :) How is yours coming Luc?

I love the bit that says "the instrument panel is premoulded and JUST needs fitting with instruments" easy peasy ....I have the original video tape from way back and purchased a Europa this year

I don’t particularly like the ‘mono wheel’ thing going on, and it doesn’t look particularly pleasant to he honest. The tri wheel version looks 😯 amazing. At an airfield near me there was a Europa with a tailwheel, unfortunately it crashed two years ago : (
