Great video mate. Having just moved back home to Australia after living many years in central Scotland, I noticed these birds flying around my local area here in small flocks. I’d never seen them here in Melbourne before so looked them up to discover they were introduced European Greenfinches. We’ve had a small amount of European Goldfinches here for many years, but I’d never seen Greenfinches. Nice to learn a bit about them.

Hello I recently saw your channel and I have some questions regarding my canaries. I have a female canary that is about 9 months old. She started laying eggs so I bought her a nest. She lays in it. I bought a male canary yesterday and he is about 6 months old. I am worried that the male being younger will affect whether or not they breed. Thanks .

Good to see ... but whe gott 3 types in breeding the native (eurepean greenie) but you have about 10 sub spiecies in the eurepean greenie .. then whe have in show the eurepean greenie , then the breeding vorm shottish type is more boddy and darker and whe gott the Major greenie .. is a verey dark bird and big size but also to long feathers the native and the major greenie only them 2 gott a show standard on the COM in belgium the 3 types play seperat in show ... i prefur the native becose the mutations in them ar brighter from colour when you see te diferents between a agate native and major native off the birds in show in the uk the agate in them typs ar very bad they show lots off brown ...

all i see on finch care is basically finch breeding. i dont want to breed but give good care. too many "pet" birds out there over breeding living in small cages.
