The final form of the nightmare bares a striking resemblance to Vaati. What if between the events of minish cap and four swords, the wind fish and the wind mage were locked in an epic battle and that is why the wind fish's nightmare takes a form similar to vaati. Link fights his own nightmares that take the form of enemies he once fought, like ganon, and then fights the source of the wind fish's nightmares. Vaati is the wind fish's nightmare. Also it's fitting that the *wind* fish's nightmare is the *wind* mage.

links awakening on gbc was the first game that made mi feel guilty about my desitions in games, felt terrible that i had to dessapear all life in the island in order to come back to hyrule.. im i the bad guy now?

I'm sorry, but i wish you would've used the original version or DX version's instead of the remake's. I get it though, it's the newest, most accessible version. I'm seemingly the only one who thinks the Switch remake genuinely horrible and disappointing in almost every way. I LOVE Link's Awakening, it was the first video game i ever owned and what got me into Zelda in the first place. Maybe i think the Switch version sucks because GameBoy games are too hard to translate to top-down 3D models, or that Grezzo made it, even though they did a good job with OoT 3D and MM 3D, but those are different because they were fully 3D and didn't use sprites. There were just too many changes to the controls, artstyle, sound design, music, and general feel of it, they completely got rid of the intro music, changed the file select screen, changed the names of items, switched things around on the map sometimes, and even changed Link's hat and shield too, and much much more, i was never a fan of what they did to a game that was very special to me, i felt like my nostalgia was ruined.

I understand how you feel, but I love the game. I feel it is a perfect remake, which improves so much of the tidious gameplay from the original and yes, I did play the original first. The artstyle is beautiful and it translates the top down visual style of the original exceptionally well. I do feel that they should have kept the mouse camera guy from DX, having Dampe be somewhere else, they removed an incredible portion of the game, although it wasn't in the original... The music is incredible too. But it all comes down to preferences

@@ZeldaLore To each their own, i suppose. I'll always prefer everything about the original or DX though, probably due to nostalgia and honestly preferring the GameBoy controls. Nice video by the by. (Also no joke, I say "by the by" instead of "by the way" now because the owl says it in Link's Awakening.)

Nope xD this is the last we hear from him. Link from Oracle of ages and seasons is a different one (Hyrule Encyclopedia translated it wrong apparently)

@@ZeldaLore that is really odd since i swear at the end of the linked game link takes off from those lands on a sail boat....and in oracle of ages specially you have a raft and the same kid could've built a sailboat

@@alakazamlover4908 I've since then changed my mind about Link in the oracles. He is undoubtedly the same Link, and the game has to take place between A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening (like it was in Hyrule Historia before the change in Encyclopedia). The developers intended for the oracle games to be set in between those two games. Link actually sets sail from Hyrule at the end (we see Hyrule Castle in the distance). And the boat uses the same sprite as the one in Link's Awakening, only with the sails opened. The timeline in Hyrule Historia and Encyclopedia is not entirely accurate to what's established in the games (a clear example being Four Swords Adventures, which both the developers and the game itself states it takes place not long after the events of Four Swords. Following Vaati's defeat, the people believe peace has returned to Hyrule, until dark clouds begin to cover Hyrule and the events of Four Swords begin. Link and Zelda in FSA are the same from Four Swords too).

@@ZeldaLore im just glad your giving the oracle games attention! I hope to see a theory on Subrosia someday because it seems VERY hell-like, so what if the subrisionans are like "good" demons, similar to the good demon in skyward sword?

No this game is in the Fallen timeline and you’re playing as the same Link from A Link to the Past. This is the Hero of Legend. This game takes place many generations after the events of Ocarina of Time but more importantly the whole point of the Fallen timeline is that it’s the “what if” timeline where Link lost to Ganondorf at the end of Ocarina of Time. It’s the bad ending. So not only is this generations after Ocarina of Time so the Hero of Time would have died from old age… he literally died by losing to Ganondorf. The Hero of Time is only playable in Ocarina of Time and Majorca’s Mask. His spirit also appears in Twilight Princess.

@@alakazamlover4908 Some people believe the link in the Oracle games, is an entirely different link. Some people think it's the same hero in all 4 games...idk which one is true, hell they even say the Oracle games are in BETWEEN a Link to the Past and Link's Awakening, which is absurd to think about. I have yet to to figure out the sequence to these games.

@@alakazamlover4908 Me too they were the first zelda games I played along with A Link to the Past and Links Awakening. But never as a kid did i imagine the series would be confused with the timelines, and what order these games are chronologically. I say just play the darn games, thats what they are there for. And man each Zelda game makes me feel like a kid again. Like when i played and beat wind waker and twilight princess when i was 10. Epic memories that last more than a lifetime...
