It's the standing on the railroad tracks syndrome: he really doesn't know what to do. You really DO NOT want to get an eviction nowadays because you will have a hard time renting elsewhere. Eviction prevention: NEVER love on 100% of your take home pay. Save AT LEAST 10% right off the bat. Prepare a 6 month financial cushion. When you see that you do not have enough for next month's rent and no job in sight, COMMUNICATE with the landlord. Offer to move into smaller quarters and surrender the apartment to the landlord so the landlord can rent to someone else. PUT YOUR MOST EXPENSIVE POSSESSIONS in storage ESPECIALLY the Rent to Own Possessions. YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY on those possessions when you are evicted and some eviction vulture takes those possessions for their own use.
