Just because you recently paid the landlord a chunk (say $1200) doesn't mean you don't OWE them another $1200!!! That chunk doesn't count as "rent" when you behind! You still owe! And no, they don't TAKE YOUR MONEY then evict you so you can't rent something else. They're taking what is already their's you fools!
