Ex CEX Worker here: I genuinely loved working there. My team were all lovely and we always took the piss. The persistence of BO actually came from customers NOT staff. Many of them were homeless or addicted to drugs, looking to sell tech for a quick bit of cash. It was sad really, but we had a few regulars who we struck up good relationships with and looked out for. All in all despite the cringe and the smell, I loved working there . Also a great place to look for obsolete tech and media for a reasonable price, even including the rare items

As an American Jarling, it has always surprised me how much Alex uses iTunes, even when I listen to Sardonicast and hear how much he rents/buys movies on there. I didn't realize how popular it still was in other countries, because here in the US, even people with iPhones use Spotify, Soundcloud or KZbin Music. And for movies we all just use streaming services or buy them from Amazon if it's digital. At least within my circles so I guess I can't speak for everyone.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for James this time, but dinosaurs aren't actually lizards. I know their name literally means "terrible lizard" (dino = terrible, saur = lizard) but that's a holdover from the 1800s. They are technically still reptiles, but then this also means birds are reptiles. It's strange, I don't fully understand the taxonomy either. In fairness the toy Alex was holding was an outdated reptilian depiction of some kind of theropod, so I guess it does look more like a lizard. If this episode is the EVIL Episode, then I hope the next one can finally become the DINO Episode! Come on Alex, it's time to unleash the beast! The dino jarlings have waited patiently. We all know there's a paleo persona fighting to survive inside your mind. Or has Randy already taken over? We'll see who wins this war.
