Michael Fisher later wrote (and produced) episodes of "FANTASY ISLAND", "MATT HOUSTON", and "SPENSER: FOR HIRE"- and was, among other series, a producer of the 1988 revival of "MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE". He was also a prolific novelist {including the "Ed Cody" series of mystery novels}.

Michael was also the son of author Steve Fisher, who write the episode "George" featuring Darren McGavin. And, a couple of years later, the teleplay for the "Chopper" episode of KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER.
