What Hitler was using was close enough to methanphetimine, and meth psychosis is really depicted in this version. As threatening as it is, I have to roll my eyes at this every time bechause of how fundamentally it misunderstands Hitler. The reason he got to where he got can be broken down to his mastery of public perception. He was an incredibly capable actor and manipulator to whom public opinnion matterd more then anything else. Not even his inner circle got to see his real side. Even their he was known for the role he played in public. The only people who knew about his state of health were his medical staff, thats it. What I am trying to say is this: Hitler would have rather killed himself then to embarass himself this much infront of people. It dosnt matter that this is a base on Venus and that noone will talk about this to anyone. It matterd to him that people were aware of his authority, no matter the situation, no matter the rank of the person adressed. The real Hitler would have dominated the room with his pressence. This is, unfortunately, not just a problem here. Many pieces of media try to parody him in some way. When the reality is: there was nothing to parody about this man. And I think a lot more could be gained if we stopped ignoring how he actually behaved irl.
