And rightfully so: The old Broly was just a one dimensional villain whose only line was "KAKAROT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and his backstory was "He went evil 'cuz baby Goku made him cry". The new Broly is actually interesting, has a decent backstory, and has a personality and meaningful dialogue. And as a result, he's now one of the good guys rather than a throwaway villain. Both Broly and Paragus are so, SO much better in Super than their past versions were.
