The second Beth stopped after he called her mama, I honestly cried. She will never get to know that feeling of being a parent from a child of her own. Jaime took that away from her; plain and simple. Carter saw her as that and sadly, what Beth said is true that she is not his mother. I just wish she approached the situation differently with him. I wish she took him to the side saying, “Carter, as much as it pains me to say this to you, I am not your mother. Please don’t call me that ever again. However I am your friend, Carter. You can count on that.” Thanks for uploading.

@@gandres_07 Yes I have. Although that is not how the character Beth operates. Absolutely she can adopt Carter and he can call her mom. However at the end of the day, Beth knows she is not his real mother. Beth is a realist. And being one of the bloodlines to Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, Beth cannot give another line to the ranch like Kasey and Jaime can. Adopting Carter would be amazing and Beth can ensure Carter has a place at the ranch but when it comes to what Beth, Jaime and Kasey does for the ranch, Carter cannot do that. Although Carter can be the next Rip Wheeler of the business. A good hard working hand that is loyal beyond a shadow of a doubt.

@vinyltapelover Жыл бұрын
Jerry Lee "Funny that Beth doesn't want the title of mother, but she has been a mother to the whole family from Episode 1. Respect" Edit: "Chase" corrected to read "Kayce" Jerry Lee, "respect" for sure👍🏼, but maybe for a different reason. She's more of a leader, 2nd to her dad, of the family. She would have been the tough no non sense son, if she had been a boy. She just seemed to have stepped up to assuming a leadership roll. Kayce, for a long time after getting out the military, wanted little and nothing to do with involving himself and his family with the ranch, much less to being eventual heir and leader. Jamie was essentially brought on board as a youngster and "adopted" into the family by John as a "son". Taylor Sheridan, writes ALL the dialogue for all his shows including Yellowstone and the actors deliver the lines as written...with no deviations or improvisations. I mention that, because like many viewers, there may be a character the just gets on your nerves or we think that they need to be "gone". All that is in Taylor's hands. I have a theory about Beth. I see Beth as the Dutton family "Fixer". She is almost a superwoman, but like Superwoman or Superman, she can't be everywhere and "fix" everything, every time. Her "Kryptonite" may be that she doesn't believe she cannot "fix" everything. She seems to thrive on attacking problems and people. If she had been a guy,. she would have probably made a good special forces operator. People say that Beth is being seen too much lately in recent episodes. I'm wondering if it is a set us up to find her finally overwhelmed from trying to "fix" too many things. Beth is devoted her dad and all things Yellowstone. Between John and Rip, Rip is the one who has a way of reaching and talking sense to Beth. It may be Rip who may have to be there to "catch" Beth, if and when she hits her saturation point. She isn't going to be an example of a mother, in Carter's life, but he is observing that there is more to her than most see, based on her interaction and relationship with Rip. My apologies for blathering on so much.

I worked with a lot of kids like Carter, which is a sad statement on our society. The writing on this show is spectacular, and the actors bring it to life in an amazing way. That scene where Beth and Carter meet, and she takes on the role of "friend of family" is something.. All she has lived through goes through her mind, and all she watched Rip go through, and she realizes at that moment Carter is at a fork in the road, and she steps up, stretches way beyond her comfort zone and enters his world. She fires out at that doctor with both barrels, and claims her position with all the force she has. I didn't see that happen but once or twice This is what makes her character so interesting. Something tells me we will see Carter get a haircut this season, we will see him grow a bit, and he might show signs of understanding the chance he has been given, both good and bad. I think he will embrace it all full tilt, like kids do, especially desperate ones...and then as clarity comes, he will come to understand exactly what it means.

Sending you so many hugs ❤️ my older brother died 12 years ago (yesterday) back when I was 19 in a motorcycle crash, and my mom died this past November from non smoker’s lung cancer. I thought nothing in the world could compare to the pain of losing my brother so suddenly, but losing my mom, who was such a beautiful soul to such a dreadful disease so gradually cut me deep in ways I never imagined. My dad and I are still coming to terms with the sudden loss of her, four months after she was diagnosed. I hope things ever only go up from here for you filled with joy and light❤️.

“3. You work really, really, fucking hard. You learn. You fail. Learn more. Fail more. And don’t let anyone outwork you. Ever.” I’d rather be someone who fails often, than someone who wins often. I gain more from failure than I do from winning.
@Raksasaification7 ай бұрын
That's a stupid argument. U fail, then u learn, and with learnings u eventually wins something. So every winner had more failures than you, because they out work, out fail, out learn you. You have failed to fail often therefore please don't bullshit about your failure. You are just lazy.

The way things are set, Yellowstone could have a storyline set for about 10-15 years. The Tate-Carter dynamic is exciting to me, if done right. Could be Tate vs Carter too. I hope this is explored

@@Mark-ki7ic a scenario that intrigues me is if Tate’s mom’s side influences him into taking control of the ranch and letting them settle on it and Carter (the outsider) steps up for the Duttons to lead the fight to regain it

I just hope they dont put Tate against Carter as i think it would be a bad thing in my opinion. If it happens i think it may partially ruin the story line between those 2 characters. I dont see how it would actually add anything positive and really just kind of be a bad bump in the road. I think it would almost be a obligatory story line that really wouldnt do any good or add more to the show.. just my open ended opinion.

@@Brandon-w3o Rip is a stand-up man, a Western Knight, not a monster. And no one will hurt his lady while he is around. I particularly enjoy the scene where paid thugs try and he comes charging in and takes them out, running right into pistol fire. I love Beth, such a deliciously complex character. It came so naturally to her to love Carter as her own but part of her can't fully accept in. Easiness with which that "Hey,. baby" came out of her scared the life out of someone who doesn't get scared. I only wish Carter had come back with something like "You are still my family" or calling her Aunt Beth.

This missed a couple good moments. 1. Rip telling him when he saddles the horse wrong that if he doesn’t know something, to ask……and MIND YOUR FUCKING MANNERS. 2.
