Is JD manipulative handler? He knows rip was attacked with a deadly weapon and was just defending himself, yet he twists the reasoning into defending beths honor and threatens he could go to prison. It seems like it was his way of gaslighting rip into absolute loyalty and to hold something over his head as insurance. Also, How did the other cowboys know he was going to getting his brand or not ? The clip made it seem like he cam back told loyd and jd what happened, then they ditched the body and went to the fire, was there dialouge in the episode ?
