Thinking this was supposed to be the last FE theme we should have listened, but as Chrom and Lucina, the game defied the “written in stone” destiny that awaited the franchise, saving it by overcoming all expectations.

The lyrics Lucina's VA sang are more indicative of the singer being Robin, not Lucina (they talked about the plans they devised, the brand on their right hand, etc.). Probably would have been confusing to have male Robin's VA to do both characters.

@@Mrperson0 yeah when you look at them it sounds sort of like Robin is either singing this to her/their allies or specifically Chrom on how they love them so much she's/they're willing to literally die for them while resisting grima either that or its robin telling Grima to fuck off and they're gonna die together cus robin loves her/their friends too much

Yeah, this is definitely a song more about Reflet's resolve to stop the death and save the future before they can destroy it instead. And the fact that Grima's voice dies down towards the end proves Reflet's triumph over her darker half, as well as being able to say: "I don't care if I die, so long as you're all safe."
