She was 15 when Destiny's Child started touring and 18 when they gained recognition. By the time she met Jay, she was already a legal adult and developed an age-gap relationship while over the legal age limit. I'm a 30th generation American, give or take, for whatever it matters. I don't condone pedophilia or any form of child abuse. Every May-December relationship doesn't start with grooming. My 12 years older husband's brother moved next door to my parents when I was 15. I saw him just about every other day growing up and our only interaction was a wave, as we did all elders in the neighborhood, while out riding our bikes. At 22, my mom began loosing her battle to breast cancer and after graduation I returned home to help my dad tend to her. One day, going out to get the mail, he was getting out of his car and with a big goofy grin complimented on how beautiful I had grown to be. 2 years later, we were married. 7 years later, I'm still surprised my soul mate had been that close to me and I didn't even know it. I don't say it to say that grooming doesn't occur. I'm simply saying grooming isn't always the cause. Sometimes it's just written in the stars. But, I don't blame you for doubting the Hollyweird. They're weird and do weird shit. But Beyonce was not underage when they met...Foxy was.
