It’s been 2 years since Kevin passed away, and I still never got over it. He was very important to my childhood and no one could ever take his place. There are many great Batman voice actors and actors who played Batman so well in live action, no doubt about that, but to me personally, Kevin Conroy will always be Batman.

I never really knew who he was until I got into the Arkham games, but I'm starting to realize how important he (and just Batman himself) was in my childhood. Justice League was one of my favorites as a child, and I'm starting to see that Kevin Conroy is one of my favorite voice actors now. R.I.P. Kevin Conroy, the best adaptation of Batman.

For me, Kevin Conroy will always be the one true Batman. There is no other who comes close. I still hear his voice in my head whenever I read Batman comics. When I think of Batman, I think of his Batman. His voice is iconic. The most consistent, most important, most beloved voice in the history of the DCAU will live on through his extensive body of work. Gone but never forgotten.

Glad I wasn't too late in the Conroy era of Batman. The first time I indulged in Batman media that Kevin voiced in was in the Batman Arkham games. And even before that I decided to binge watch the first season of TAS on Netflix, and ever since I fell in love with Kevin and his version of Batman. Sadly by that point I heard that he was battling against cancer right before Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League came out and he lost... Another reason I wish I grew up in the 90s instead of the 2010s...

Kevin will always be my Batman as well. My favorite moment of his was in the TAS episode where he teams up with the Grey Ghost (voiced by Adam West) to stop a serial bomber. These two Bat-icons playing together in such an emotional episode will always be my favorite 20 minutes of TV.

Ok while I have no love for the game and quite frankly the sooner it's gone the better but as of the recent update we learned that we are able to save the justice league more like one member for each update granted they may be from different universes but I have no doubt that the batman we will be able to save went through the same events that our batman went through while he won't be our batman at least our universe will once again have a batman Regardless we miss you Kevin R.I.P

Whenever I thought Batman, I could only think of every iteration of Kevin Conroy's Batman and his voice. While the more popular live action actors for the Batman movies are good, Kevin Conroy to me WAS Batman. It's been 2 - 3 years since his passing, and I still get sad thinking that a part of my childhood is gone, his performances were just that good.
