I had the 1988 one that came with the denim vest, paint splatter skirt and rollerskates. I got made fun of so much for my freckles when I was a kid, and here was this beautiful midge doll that had freckles. I loved her! 💗

I still have Midge from Life In The Dreamhouse, she's one of my favorites from the show, it's a shame her blue dress ripped at the top when I wore it as a child 😞 I also bought a Midge Made to Move from 2015, she is as beautiful as the one from Life In The Dreamhouse, I love them both 😍

@4Freedom4All OMG! You also were tricked and "swindled" by that Twist and Turn promotion?! I traded in my original 1961 red-haired Barbie "head" for a black "bubble-haired" Barbie head at our local Bambergers Dept. Store in NJ! I also ended up trading away THAT doll for a copy of Bobby Vinton's "Blue Velvet" 45 record (lol) to my childhood friend and neighbor. Sad to admit that the only original doll in my collection is Barbie's friend, Stacy (circa 1967-68)...long white-blond hair, checkered minidress and white go-go boots...Little did we know what "treasures" we had in our possession back then...

Diva isn't Midge, she just used her face mould so did Bopsy from Barbie and the Sensations. These two are they own dolls. 2:59 is Kayla not Midge.

Yes, I read about Diva doll. And she seemed to copy the face of the Midch. And because of this, this confusion comes out a bit. And you are right, but they are so similar to the Midch. Moreover, now any red-haired Barbie doll is compared with the Midch. Although I think she will be given a separate role in the future. Thank you for your comments)

My all-time favorite Midge dolls are the ones produced during the "LITD" era, which I consider the "swan song" for Barbie. After "LITD" was cancelled in 2016 Mattel went reboot crazy, destroying the Barbie franchise, and destroying all their remaining fashion doll lines, including Monster High and Ever After High. Oh well, anyone up for a game of "Kick the Can"? (Cue Midge's incidental music!) - da da da da daa daa da!

At 2:00 you said the second half of the 1960s, Midge disappears. But! She never really did disappear! Mattel used the Midge doll head and repainted her face and gave her blond hair with pigtails and called her P.J. Take a look and you will learn that Midge turned into P.J.

Hello, thank you so much for watching and your comments. In fact, Ken, as now and in the past, has always played the role of Barbie's boyfriend. As Everyone knows, in 2004, the couple diverges, for a short while. But I must say that in paralal with this legend, Barbie and Ken's wedding sets are always released. And I intend to make videos about such sets. But here they differ from Midch and Alan, who became a family and gave birth to children. So, Barbie and Ken still remain just in love as a couple. And this is confirmed by the release of a new multi-series cartoon Barbie Dreamhouse adventage. Lets will see what is happened in the future with this couple)
