Honestly, I find the brighter colors of grass and the low detail gameplay always had a certain charm to it that kind of got ruined in 1.0.

I actually agree with that, I really like the old textures of grass and leaves; stuff like that. With 1.12 that came out, they brightened the wool colours again so now the wool looks the same as in the old versions.

Yeah. The simplicity and novelty of it gave it a certain unique spark that cannot be replicated today. I feel that this spark began to die out somewhere in the middle of 1.6 or so. Minecraft as it once was will be missed and will carry a special place in my heart.

I first started playing Minecraft around 2011-2012. You see I first started playing on my brothers Xbox 360. Back then Most of my structures where stone or not that detailed. When the time of me playing on my brothers Xbox was over, Jungle trees came in and iron golems. Now, I started playing on my mom's phone and for a while I didn't realize I was playing on Minecraft Lite. 2013-2014. Now, I start playing it on my computer around 2015. Around this time I first started building cars and putting in more detail than I did few years back. 2016-2017, I played on my tablet. And I still do. Note: I was 6 years old when I first started playing Minecraft.

I started playing in 2009 I remember it quite well actually. Shame now minecraft has become too complex the worst addition was the cool down on swords. I hadn't for a few months and when I logged on to that, well I stopped playing I haven't played since. If anyone at mojang reads this however unlikely it may be, bring back the fun. Started playing in alpha i honestly miss those times :( since the game got enchants it went downhill imo. I'd love it if they brought back like the old minecraft without enchants without sprinting food that heals you up instant and the OP bows. That was the best minecraft it has ever been imo.

После beta 1.2 версии в майне практически ни чего не изменилось даже новой руды не добавили мододелы которые сделали глобальные моды вклали в майнкрафт усилий больше чем этот mojang которые в 1.12 добавили новые кровати разных цветов а мод на сумречный лес там новое измерение постройки блоки боссы гэлэкти крафт руда планеты боссы мобы непонятные схемы я учусь в 5 классе моджанг может добавят ракеты но через 25 лет майнкрафт без модов ужасен!

I remember when I was in a flat world(1.9 version), I saw a huge monolith(chunk error) and thought herobrine is in my world, but still I continued to build beside the monolith xD! And also, the infdev definitely looks like the 1.19 mountain generation, amazing!

For those of you who say 'the good old days...' or something like that, its not the game that changed you, its you that change the game for yourself. You just got bored of the game, not the game itself got boring(they had so many updates they put!), its just that you changed, you evolved your thinking of the game, not the game itself. Next time, don't think your past is more precious than your present(thats simply not true!). You could even go back to past versions with the current minecraft launcher,Golly! I know minecraft is not how it used to be, and I to really miss the old times(i still enjoy minecraft tho),but just face it, some things in life are just hard to understand, but remember that you have changed, not the game.
