It’s funny to watch this video 15 years later and to see myself as one of the very first people to do this gap after David and Yamakasi guys. Me and my friends from Poland jumped it back in 2006/07. Back then things were a little different, there were very little videos about Parkour so every thing we did was unknown and we had to break physical and mental barriers every time we jumped. I’m glad that Paul Maunder made this nice video so we can go back to it and smile a bit :) We made our video from that trip as well and I think it’s still on YT somewhere, just type in Polish trip to Lisses. Thanks for bringing good memories mate !

I was big into parkour around 2006 when youtube began to grow. Hadn't really watched anything since 2009ish and, without being involved in the community or knowing anything about it, manpower and dame du lac always stood in my mind as THE parkour landmarks. Nice video Jimmy! One of the things I love about parkour is that it makes you develop the spirit of overcoming obstacles. Aside the physical ones we face in parkour we should let it bleed into our lives. I work in Évry, and my office literally is on the same street. We moved a few months ago, but the previous one was literally in the building where people jumped from.
