Has to be first Gen for the nostalgia. I remember milling through base set packs and playing pokemon Red during long summer nights on my SP. Gold and Silver were also amazing

The team rocket set always hold a special place in my heart! My favourite Pokémon of all time is probably blastoise. Always picked squirtle as a starter and loved that my Pokémon could use surf!

It's really fun to watch someone up so many cards! I think my favorite generation has to be diamond and pearl. I have a lot of fond memories opening cards from those sets and watching the show as it was coming out.

Probably the XY era for Pokémon cards, this generation left me a lot of good memories and in my mind this is "The golden age of Pokémon". My overall favorite era is probably Gold, Silver, and Crystal, for the comics or cards or the Pokémons introduced. Gen 2 is my favorite era overall. I also really like the sword and shield era.

I love these trips down memory lane, and the nostalgia associated with it. Such an awesome feeling and appreciate Rev for doing these historic pokemon based videos. The best era has to be "Expedition" or E-series, the best artwork on the cards and the packs too.

My favorite gen has to be gen 5. White was my first game so I just have a lot of sentimental value with Unova, but hey, there music is fire so it has that going for it too! As for my favorite Pokémon, it has to be Vaporeon. I used Vaporeon in my playthrough of Pokémon Platinum and she carried me through the Elite 4 and stomped on Cynthia! I of course had to bring Vaporeon back for my playthrough of Brilliant Diamond, too :)

I almost had a heart attack with that ninetales 😂 I saw the 4 fire energies and thought it was the big boy charizard! I can remember the oldest one of cards that I opened and it was expedition and then gen 4 and gen 8 were the ones that got me back into Pokémon.

It’s honestly gotta be XY for me. XY was the first generation that I watched the anime and it just has that nostalgia for me. Watching Ash-Greninja just hits different from me. That also leads into my favorite Pokémon being Greninja. The anime has a factor but I also generally think that it’s a really cool Pokémon.

Yooo let's gooo this looks so insane. Love the added detail of the each set year printed on each pack. Great idea. That first pack was the one i probably opened the most of. Omg I absolutely thought that was gonna be a charizard!!! Still awesome ninetales holo pull. I Still remember pulling a charizard in the back seat of our car outside the store in the parking lot. Edit: Really digging the new style thumbnails. Gives each video its own identity moreso.
