Takanashi Yasuharu also wrote score for Naruto Shippuuden and Kajiura Yuki was big even before Sawano Hiroyuki. They both have instantly recognizable styles. I remember watching a new anime and just hearing some notes from the soundtrack in the background made me go: izzat Takanashi Yasuharu? And what do you know, it was. I first heard Sawano Hiroyuki’s drops in Blue Exorcist and that felt almost revolutionary. Fun fact: he wrote a song for League of Legends one time for a cinematic, it’s called Light and Shadow, I believe. This shows how his icon spread across the sea
