Here's my theory on his eye colors Yellow is his original eye color. Red is the color of his eyes because of the gem. Green is the color of his eyes because he's undead or he is still corrupted but this time he doesn't have the gem.

It's called the Overseer. It's a being from another dimension that you face at the end of Legends of Kingdom Rush and Iron Marines.

Vez’nan may be evil but at least he’s honourable unlike king denas who lounges in his chair even on the battlefield instead of fighting he just uses his soldiers as pathetic meat shields while vez’nan has the mentality that if they are risking their lives for me than I’ll shall too and that’s why he’s my favourite character and the most likeable at that
