He told two different stories from the beginning: I have Polycythemia Vera, I have been getting treated for cancer And I’m getting a confirmation to make sure its cancer. He told these two stories side by side to blur the lines. He’s getting treated for the symptoms, not the cancer since the cancer was never officially diagnosed, and he lied that his doctor told him he definitely had it, he had to blur the lines 2.) Anytime he realizes the opposition starts to make a good argument, he interrupts and gets angry to portray righteous indignation. He wants to appear indignant about being wronged and people who are lying tend to get angry because it makes people think they are innocent and are angry about it 3.) Throughout this whole debacle, Boogie knew that it couldn’t be proven that he lied without showing his medical records, so he had gained morale and allowed him to become confident in his lie (if you know you wont be caught, it makes it easier to lie) 4.) He refused to show his medical charts on principle of privacy, despite offering all of his other medical history, despite offering to show his medical chart showing basal cell carcinoma. Complete contradiction, which is a recurring theme Boogie through all of these podcasts tells contradictory pieces of information but is willingly “ignorant” to it because of the much often used, now cliche, term of… Gaslighting The technique of playing on already existing doubts. He also attempts to tell contradictory information to confuse people and divert the conversation back to his terms perpetually, that he refuses to show his medical records out of privacy and not out of being proven wrong

The issue is that the treatment for secondary polycythemia and polycythemia Vera (the cancer one) are the same because polycythemia Vera is incurable. So treatment is treating the symptoms.

But …polycythemia is an exception to that because the treatment is overall the same for both cancer and secondary polycythemia’s (lower RBCs, manage clotting risk). I don't know if you read comments but I think I can explain this, my father is exactly like boogie personality wise, to the point where he intentionally forged a wedge between me and my dying brother, manipulators like this will leech off all the unearned positive attention that comes with being a victim, emotionally or physically, they will first try and obfuscate the truth until it is impossible then claim to be the worst person in the world, overblow what you say and attempt to *villianize* themselves. I’m 31 years old and thinking back to when I was 19 years old, I wasn’t emotionally or mentally mature. Seeing 19 year olds now proves to me that this is all 19 year olds. Your brain isn’t even fully developed until you’re 26…she has absolutely no idea how bad she is being manipulated and probably abused as well. So although in the eyes on the law she’s an “adult” and is enough to know the basics of “right vs wrong”, I still feel horrible for her. it pisses me off that he would lie about having cancer like i am genuinely infuriated with him, i am a stage 3 head and neck cancer survivor with videos to back it up because i did a timelaspe when me and my mother and sometimes my grandmother while we drove to the one of the cancer treatment places i had to go to and i had to endure 35 rounds of radiation and a different place for the 7 rounds of chemo which felt like for a lack of better words being steam rolled over and over again always being nauseous from chemotherapy and having the equivalent of a severe sunburn turned up by 100, why do youtubers use serious illnesses for sympathy, i have been called a liar but i proved myself to be telling the truth by showing my radiotherapy mask + the chemo infusions time lapse i made, however i will say this when they say we think you may have cancer they immediately order for a biopsy and a P.E.T scan to be sure, boogie is so fucking clueless it's not even funny!

Naw man. Have you seen the Mike Clum documentary ? Boogie admitted that she was extremely damaged due to her upbringing. They both trauma bond in his own words and that sounds extremely unhealthy and toxic. You don't want a girlfriend like that man. Stay strong and you'll find one eventually. Just gotta get out there, be yourself, etc. My advice is to work on yourself and learn to love yourself first. That means enjoy your hobbies, go to the gym, do boxing at a gym or join a martial arts academy, etc.

So I had someone in my family with narcissism. The tactic of screaming to be louder than the other person in hopes of winning is a tactic that is easy to counter. I started to say "I will speak and when I am done I will let you speak uninterrupted". 99.9% of the time they can't hold back and you do have to be patient and let them speak. They will also try to say a LOT to bombard you to confuse you so it is important to remember or write down questions but once you start talking and they interrupt you you tell them to stop. You were respectful so show me the same curtesy. If they ramble then ignore them and ask the question again. Do not join into the yelling, just stick to it, you will see them get more and more flustered when you ask them to answer the simple question without all the detours.
