First of all, I don't understand English, so I'm sorry if my English is a little weird. I love Mr.Angero's reaction. Among the secondary characters, I like Wirbel and Denken. At first, I thought Wirbel was a battle fanatic who didn't mind killing people, but it was the exact opposite. He was actually a kind person. Denken is a person I particularly like, and he is a good, caring person with the guts to never give up until the end. The characters that appear in this anime are all characters that have a particularly good impression on me. I think the story about Old Man Voll's memories in episode 16 is true. My memory of Old Man Voll is somewhat vague. That's a bit of a sad story. Also, the title of this anime is sousou no Frieren (English title: Frieren:Beyond Journey's End), and "sousou" (葬送) means funeral, meaning a final farewell to the dead, a crematorium, a cemetery, etc. to send it to. These meanings are used for both friends and enemies. In this anime, even with English subtitles, the characters and region names are in German. I'm sure some people find it difficult to pronounce, so I'll write a few words. (Old Man) voll is foll. Stark is Shutaruku. Stolz is Shutorutsu. Sein is Zain. Wirbel is Wiabel. Übel is Yubel. (The first "Yu" remains as it is, but the "Yu" is pronounced as if it were extended between the next "bel".) Lawine is Lavine (the "vi" is pronounced as if the "i" is stretched out). Land is Lanto. scharf is Sharufu. laufen is laofen. Ehre is Eere. Sense is Zenze. serie is zerie (after ``ze'' it is pronounced like a stretched ``e''; ``rie'' remains as it is). I think these are the closest pronunciations.

Another thing i love about this anime, the other contestants for the exams are not just random side characters that are there to fill spots. Well some are but not all of em. They have dedicated backstories, motives of their own and even flashbacks. Denken is my favourite example. You will absolutely love his character bro i assure you. And how could i forget best girl Ubel. She's the menacing and deadly package wrapped in a peak waifu exterior👌🔥😂

Actually Michael, all of Wirbel's efforts actually were for something. The reason Stille never showed up for them was not just bad luck, but all 3 of them kinda sucked at mana concealment. But after all their efforts and losing, their mana was depleted so the Stille actually showed up near them. So all that effort did do something for em.

The full pronunciation of Serie in German would be something like "Zea-ree-eh", but the third syllable is very faint or even skipped entirely when saying it quickly.

You do a great job of saying names the same as in other languages (German to Japanese to English when you think about it lol). But most people don't replicate the sounds that don't exist in their native language, like the mashing of L's and R's in Japanese. Reminds me of stuff I learned in Intro to Linguistics in university... kinda wish I had stuck with that more

I finally realized why Ehre thought fighting Fern was like fighting against her grandpa.... Spoiler!!!! ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ Its cause Serie teaches to only use ordinary offensive and defensive magic. That's how she taught Ehre's grandpa and Flamme, then Flamme taught Frieren, and Frieren taught Fern. Their fighting style originates from the same person😂

Nah, Serie is more than 2500 years old, because it is said she's from the mythical era when the goddess still roaming around the earth. Even Kraft that said Frieren is still young didn't believe at the goddess back then that alone enough to say that Kraft never seen the goddess of creation at all. I assume Serie is around 5000 to 10.000 years old.
