Hey there! Did I say 5-sec CD on Fiesta? I meant 15! I'm sorry today was tiresome AHAHA if you can't already hear it from my voice. Edit : If FPS and performance affects DPS. If you're at 140 FPS stay at around 1.3k fire rate and until the devs fix this, you go 2 x fire rate 1 x Magazine size 1 x Colossus Damage (NO SPS) Real life fighter will technically deal more damage given you can aim weak point 100%. But you can choose FF depending on which you like the most. Remove magazine size or 1 tactical augment entirely if you use SPS for Gley, you can keep it if you use RLF. keeping it at 1x fire rate + max stack on SPS would give you 57 total fire rate at 1,367 for 140 FPS which is the "cap" Also, when core x is out, i think this gun will outshine EL by a lot. Simply because EXCAVA has 5 damage scaling cores and EL only has 2. Have a lovely day guys! ❣

If this gps thing gets fixed we'll be getting damage close to that. Maybe even people with high FPS can already do that

i am not entirely sure how accurtate this DS kill is. sure you would get "more" dmg with a better pc because your fps have a bigger impact on your firerate. but the thing is if your team mates just do less dmg of course you got a chance to do more overall. like at least 1 of your team mates will have a bad dps up time because he needed to rez you and the other buddy a couple times. imagine none of you would have died and got a similar dps uptime. i am pretty sure you would not get this number again.

I was pretty consistent with it. After the vid I dealt 130m with 2 enzos and a freyna. I was also DBNO a lot in this showcase. A lot factors and it's all about consistency. in comparison, my Hailey EL is consistently doing 90-100m per run with full gunner players. this was doing 90-130. And I have low FPS

I actually can't confirm yet. One thing for sure is that you don't need to throw the grenade.. If level afeects crit rate increase then it matters. Also, if you still get negative effects from level 1, then capoping it will help you. In terms of fire rate, the cores still the same so it would still shoot the same

Just a note : This doesnt work properly. You are stuck at 1400 RPM and for that to work, you need 120 FPS or more. RPM above that = bullets go missing, you can test this using any mod that counts number of bullets fire. (the other mod similar to SPS, mental focus or something)

Ornery, i hope you see this post. I have you tried to solo Defiler with gley using your mini gun build? I have set 3 cores to electric attribute and two for fire rate. Using this, I was able to solo the defiler using gley in 1 min 30 seconds. Since you did not showcase your build against the defiler, I assume it means it was not viable against him. I'd like to try your build but getting the cores was so difficult so id rather compare with yours.

With 4x12 rate of fire and the mod you get 97.27 rounds per second. The fourth rate of fire core just about doubles the rounds per minute. On the mini gun build bonus electric is about the same average damage as bonus colossus damage, unless you are getting all weak point hits. With all weak point hits bonus colossus is better, but you are running edging shot and not having aim/weak point sight. So edging shot should be paired with bonus electric and bonus colossus with having aim.

curious how you got 97.27 shots per second. Unless you inputted "0" on reload timer which is not the case, should be averageshot = bulletpergley3rdurationateffectivefirerate/(bulletpergley3rdurationateffectivefirerate/effectivefirerate+gley3rdanimation) the 51 s/p is calculated through shots delay/s which is 1/0.01938~ You can't have colossus damage because you have 2 free slots at fire rate, and 2 tactical on fire rate, and a fixed attribute core of attribute. Weak point dishes out the best damage yes but that's when you're at 100% weak point hit. The average hit rate is 50-65% but to be generous, I accounted 70 for large weak point hits taking away electric priority for have aiming is okay but you lose 20% of your accuracy to a gun that you can't aim, just for 2.661% damage difference. This will further decrease your weak point accuracy. Edging shot brings the crit chance from 27% to 35%. Not critting will render crit damage useless and that's a factor that looks bad on paper, but on practice is always the go-to when the damage difference is not that high. In this case, the difference is 1.5% (refer to my secret garden build) using a calculator is okay, but you have to understand the formula and its factors. there are also outside factors and creativity. i did the math manually so I know where goes where

@@OrneryBiscuit I had messing with calculator without looking to much into it is math, so my mistake that there. The 97.27 is using some sort of averaging from sharp precision shot with no reload. As for the shot per second I was looking at it with no reload as if a gley was using it. When starting off it is at 588/60/(1-(25-20+48)/100) which about 21rps. Fully spooled up its 588/60/(1-(25+20+48)/100) to 140rps. If the calculator is to believed there is hard cap of .9 reduction (or 90%) to rate of fire leaving you at 98rps. As for bonus damages I was talking about the weapon adjustments not the core augments, sorry if that wasn't clear. I find that colossus are big enough and the gun is accurate enough that having aim really doesn't hurt it for colossus battles. It was more about trying to min max for the job. I feel that you want best around gun in out of intercepts flat bonus electric with edging shot its the way to go. Best colossus killing is done with flat bonus colossus and having aim/weak point sight, which is questionable given it really only gets you at extra 3 to 10% dps depending on the colossus.

But yeah, the deciding factor why I did not go with weak point is, there are too many shots to 100% hit on weak points for little amount of dps boost and the probability of 100% weak point hits only go smaller the more shots you fire. But sure, 100% weak point hits, if someone does it, it's the most optimized build. love that you responded with maths!

my god what is with these devs developing these guns with pointless mechanics, parts, etc... The grenade is full on useless. no one uses it and there is no way to make it better. why is it a part of this gun??? Does anyone anywhere playtest this stuff before sending it?? this guns grenade, useless, the mana boosting of the Devotion, useless, the hammer and anvil, the entire gun is useless. Almost every purple gun is useless. hell the standard decendents, are ultimatly useless against the ultimate descendings. but funny truth about the ultimate descendants Is they actually break the game's own internal lore. For us as players we get standard and ultimate decendents and they are 2 different people but in the games lore and cut seens there is only 1 or the other. You never see bunny talking to ult bunny do you? the developers should have never made the descendants standard, and then ultimate as to separate charaters. They should have made the ultimate an evolution.

I have to be honest the general build doesn't make any sense considering the gun has such low crit rate.

That's the best damage output for general build. The unique ability gives it its crit rate base before modules. So attribute crit is the go to

@@OrneryBiscuit even then the crit chance is still just almost over 35% with mods and substats. Wouldn't it be best to just mod for damage and attribute at that point?

@@nullvoid2001 It already has attribute. The other thing you can do is weak point or quality of life. That's why i had firing fiesta to compensate for that. And since bullets disappear at 1,300 rpm at 140 FPS, you can sacrifice some augments for magazine count. Going weak point when you build attribute will lose you value because attribute does not scale off of weak point. Crit is the other choice since our primary is attribute. You can say the same thing about Enduring Legacy which has low crit rate. But that's just the limits of using these guns with descendants who cannot buff the weapon.

lol the Enduring Lagacy, Vanilla, no cores, no mods, white unchanged stat rolls, level 1 and hip fired is better then the Excava lol.
