Yeah, also for example: you do depth jumps from 25 inch box and he says it’ll stunt your growth. But in sports like basketball, you jump 25 inch to get a rebound, block a shot, etc. and using his logic that will stunt your growth too?? It’s absurd

Started 6 months ago, my favorite decision I’ve ever made in my life, I benched 100lbs for 2 recently and now thinking back to when I could barely get 40 up which is less than a barbell(I use dumbbells) it’s really motivating, and watching my physique change in the mirror as well is great, I love this shit, my only regret is not start sooner

don’t make it a personality and balance out your life or you’ll end up like every single other gym goer drugged up on steroids, peds, sarms etc ( which is statistically accurate) 30-40% of gym goers use performance enhancers (that don’t compete competitively) and 10% to 12% of gym goers have muscle(body) dysmorphia so if you can’t balance it out you’ll end up depressed or finding your body unpleasant so do the most logical thing wait to do it until you’re properly ready mentally and physiologically thats what some gym influencers advise ( Joey Swole, Noel Dyzel) they’re most notably and they’re positive influences that talk against the negativity

This is not true because if you think about it playing basketball and just jumping in general on the way down will stop you from growing and if you see the people that play basketball most of them don’t look very short so this exercise is fine😊

I doubt this, basketball players jump intensively all the time and yet there tall as hell, Ja Morant got hops jumping of a tire and yet he’s 6’3. Antekumpo was definitely spamming polymeric exercises at intense rates at yet he grew 2 inches after 18. Intensity would equal more HGH this you could make the argument you could grow taller from depth jumps.

I doubt it. He didn’t provide any evidence that plymetrics stunt growth. Personally I think that it would actually increase growth by causing micro fractures in the bone that encourage growth. I think that this is part of what helps make basketball players taller.

Im not a scientist but as a kid i was really into parkour and so i used to constantly see how high of things i could jump off. And man i used to fall like a proper 3 - 4 metres out of a tree. It fucked my knees but im 6.1 so idk how legit that jumping stuff is. I only say this cos i know without a doubt, that almost no one did the amount of exteme jumping i did growing up and im still tall.

okay, here's a genuine question. If high-intensity plyometrics stunts growth, how are basketball players, who grew up playing, drilling, and jumping a lot, get taller? I played football (aka soccer) when growing up and your statement is logical there but falls short (? idk) when it comes to basketball. please explain a bit further
