The BMW G20 really is a fantastic car, but the stock exhaust is pretty disappointing honestly. AWE decided to fix this problem, and has the new 'track edition' available, and its awesome! The camera mic does not do justice to this great system, and the impressive change.

Looking to upgrade my G20 and torn between the AWE Track and getting a custom "street demon" set up from Kinney's in Texas. The sound isnt too bad in this video, but where is your "before and after" video? Sorry if I'm missing it!

@@BMWDIYGuy OH man, that sucks. I watched your video a few times and went ahead and pulled the trigger and had the AWE installed. Love the sound for sure, now and then I'm getting a rattling sound but its not the tips hitting the diffuser, sorta seems like maybe the hangers are loose as it reverberates in the cabin. Was just watching this again to see if you mentioned the size of wrench to get those "o ring" locks on the hangers, as none of my Allen wrench's seem to fit. And no, I'm not a gear head to know these things ! LOL I was almost thinking it wasn't an allen but will get out there tomorrow and try again,

Hello, I hope you're able to answer this for me. But the flanged part of the pipe that awe sends. Does that flanged part go over the existing pipe from after you cut? Or does the clamp hold that in place? I installed Mines today. And I noticed that the flanged part of the pipe didn't fit over the existing pipe from where you cut.

This came straight from AWE since I partnered with them for the install. You can also order this from Kies Motorsports. It's hard to capture exhaust accurately on camera, but this is so much better than stock. I would install this in a heartbeat

I would bet the exhaust path for a diesel is different. Definitely check with AWE though

Absolutely track because I hear the touring is still very mild to makes little difference

You just transfer your OEM valves to the new exhaust depending on the model. Make sure to confirm though.
