Yesss...EXO is *the kings of versatility!* Their discography is insanely diverse, and every MV will give you different vibes, concepts, and song genres. Not only them as EXO, but their solo stuffs are also very versatile. Every member serves you different style and concept, that are fitting their own artistry. They express themselves more as artists with their solo albums authentically, not just doing something that they think is going to "sell more." EXO are some of the few most honest and genuine artists in S.Korea entertainment industry, they don't conform to what's trending or whatnot, they always do something different with high quality productions, but always being true to each of themselves as artists. That's what I love about EXO, they're not just kpop idols, they're true *artists.* And, although they're not credited much when it comes to the production of their songs (except for EXO-SC), but they're always very much involved in preparing their albums from the songs' productions, the vocalizations, the process of choosing songs, the concepts, the whole output, even to the styling/wardrobes. But, they do sometimes write their own lyrics, though not too often. Nonetheless, I believe they very much have influences on their own works. Can't wait to see more of your EXO reaction! Cheers! ^^

Well don't worry, i am 37 and i just discovered k-pop and Exo this summer... I am not the fan girl genre, i have always liked dancing... So obviously i was drown to them... Kkkkk I have to add that i really like their darker project like monster, overdose... But tempo is musically and vocally a masterpiece... I won't talk about kai dancing, you know the video with the white hat that is legend now... 🤣🤣 I really hope they will make something once chen and suho come back from military service... You'll gonna love EXO because their music discography is very diverse and have tried most genres already and yes, album listening will greatly help. So excited for the guide!! To be honest,Exo's all the commercial songs are super big.Tempo is big ,there is no doubt but it's kinda underrated becoz of Love shot ( love shot is one of the legendary hit kpop ever gave to fans to non fans ,and becoz it has pretty easy going beat and chorus that's why ) but fans and music lovers usually choose Tempo over love shot because it shows our boys vocal abilities.Obsession( they had very little promotion) and Don't Fight The Feeling are the songs that are also quite underrated ( becoz SM sabotage thses two and DFTF was not a commercial release but a gift and they didn't promote it at all.

For next reaction, I recommend: - Love Me Right (funky, dance) - Miracles in December (ballad) - Ko Ko Bop (reggae influenced, summery) Note: Baekhyun is indeed great. He's my bias and he's a versatile vocalist too. If you love Tempo, I think you'd also like Call me baby, it's really catchy. That's my most favourite title track. Regarding albums, I love Don't Mess Up My Tempo, The War and the winter albums. Personally, my bias is D.O. (he's one of 3 main vocalists in EXO) so I highly recommend his solo album- Empathy, especially Si Fuera Mía (it's a Spanish song). His voice and an acoustic guitar are such a great combo. Each member has their own style so you never feel bored when diving into them. EXO is versatile!

Their “Don’t Mess up My Tempo” , “The War”, and “Obsession” albums imo are some of their best. If you’re going to listen to the albums, the best channel for getting the correct lyrics and members (because of lot of channels mess up which member sings which part) is “Oohamaya”
