Plot synopsis:
After two preteen girls Katherine and Angela (Olivia O'Neill, Lidya Jewett) disappear for a few days, Angela's dad Victor, (Leslie Odom, Jr.) and Katherine's parents Tony and Miranda (Norbert Leo Butz, Jennifer Nettles) are relieved to have found them; until both girls show signs of demonic possession. Angela's nurse Ann (Ann Dowd) recommends that they turn to Chris McNeil (Ellen Burstyn), mother of Regan McNeil (Linda Blair), who was demonically possessed at just 12 years old 50 years prior.

Great trailer. The scene with the girl and Chris McNeil (Ellen Burstyn), Are you looking for Regan? ARE YOU LOOKING FOR REGAN! Is creepy and brings you back to the first movie. So many little things like the demonic face standing behind the father. This I have a feeling will scare the sh*t out of a few people. ME INCLUDED!

From what's been "said", and take it with a grain of 🧂salt🧂, is when you see the clip of the girls sitting with a pendulum between them they are involved in some kind of ritual, demonic in nature, but the one girl wants to try anything to see or speak to her dead mother. So they somehow get involved in the woods, after that, the 3 days? Not a clue.
