According to the rulebook the final round of scoring is triggered immediately when the 6th score card is drawn. As such with roci card played out (+1 UN influence to Tycho), you guys actually tied 81-81, but UN wins by technicality from holding the roci.

Thanks for the playthrough, this gave a great overview of the game. However, I have questions! 45:50 ish How did you place an Influence in Toth when you have no ship there and were spending AP (rather than an Event)? 47:00 ish A 3 was flipped, yet only 2 Influence was removed. Do you not remove your own Influence?

This was probably the best review for the game. As I am binge watching and reading The Expanse, I plan on buying it. I can look past the rather lackluster look of the game in favor of everything else: relatively easy rules, deep strategy, and friendship ending intrigue.

I enjoyed it quiet a bit. I especially like to see you discussing the game / experience. Normally I just take some peeks to see if the game / theme seats me and what mecanics are present, then skip to the end to listen to what the reviewer has to say about the game. And i just listen in the last part to get a general idea of the reviewers pro's and con's. But with you two i actually like to see you discussing your game sessions.

I played a 3 player game of this, and it was awesome! I'm a huge fan of the books, which probably contributes to my enjoyment. The Rocinante catch up mechanism worked really well.

nicely done , as always you done awesome job on the review / run through game-play of this game :)) for me a playbility of a game is very very important , same as variability of choices you can make and of-course i heard recommendation about numbers of the players. i like how the made the game upon the game but still they could make better. thanks for the review:)

I love your channel and your playthroughs, they are a lot of fun to watch! When you guys were scoring, you gave 1 point for orbital control. For scoring, I thought orbital control gave +1 influence to all bases in that orbital and you would only get that bonus if you have a cube on that base?

That is right, they scored orbital control incorrectly.

Hmmm, design isn’t that appealing. They could have designed some ships Xia style. Moving a big cube and little ones, meh. I will certainly check out the series, that sounds interesting.
