Absolutely! This was THE lineup. The Exploited in their prime. The "Troops of Tomorrow" lp is to this day one of the best hard-core punk records ever produced. And the last one that Big John (guitar) and Gary (bass) played on.

@vjenkins6815 the clean production of that record is amazing...everything up front..fucking brilliant 👏 👌 👍

@@michaelmarifern9541 This was Secret Records, the record producer, in their heyday. The sound quality of "Troops of Tomorrow" is what I studied when I started playing guitar. It was a great record that created a lot of jealousy and controversy.

@vjenkins6815 thier Secret stuff was the best..my 1st time hearing them was thier "Dogs Of War" single..I covered "Blown To Bits" in a band called DISORDERLY CONDUCT in 82..met the band on thier 1st US tour same yr..& would play with Karl Morris Exploited guitarist on thier "Horror Epics" record..I met him & my current drummer when they were w/ the Subs in 1990...I also played w/"Tezz " from Discharge in the same band...we were called Johny Bravo...I hated the name too...

@@michaelmarifern9541HAAA HAA, you frigging know Tezz Bones?! HAAAAA, that's awesome! I met that nutter during his Billy Club days. But I used to run into Nobby, from Broken Bones, all the time back in NYC. Was your band Disorderly Conduct a bootboy band? There was a band with that name from Philly, back in the 80s.

Love it, saw them twice in '81 at Stevenage Bowes Lyons, and at "Christmas on Earth" gig in Leeds, i've still got an identical Anti-Pasti t-shirt to the one Wattie is wearing, great days.

storkythepunk Was also at the Leeds gig. With the Damned headlining. Travelled from Dorset to London, then a coach to Leeds in the pissing snow. Coach was full of skinheads who beat the crap out of me for having a red Mohican. Queens hall was a foot underwater in some places, crammed full of sweaty punks having a great time. Happy days!

@@potatofry1237 I don't recall them playing that live, or Class War for that matter, but it was a long time ago.

Bit late to this thread but they definitely played Hitlers in the charts again at the Rainbow in 81 although Wattie didn’t sing it. His little brother sang it and half the set as Wattie had a leg in plaster. He came out on crutches halfway thru the set as the mood was turning ugly. This was the gig where Black Flag and Honey Bane supported

My friend was on a bus from London to "Eddingbörg" just to have a chat with Wattie, he got thrown off the bus after three times throwing up, he walked all the way to his "Eddinbörröw", he never met any of the members of The Exploited, but he saw the countryside of Britain i guess. 1981 i Think....

Around about this time I had a red vinyl album with tracks from this tour. Does anyone out there remember it? but I saw them in Birmingham in 1981. Not my cup of tea these days but good to see what I used to be into. P.S. I remember the T-shirt he's wearing with Boris Karloff on the front from the cover of an Anti-Pasti record.
