I met Bill Holm once at the Stonington Gallery in Seattle, amazing man.

It's pronounced as thling-git when you start saying the word keep your tongue at the top of your mouth behind your front teeth and and push the air out on either side of your tongue and then when you head into the L sound you kind of click your tongue down.
