Mr. David? ☺hi, may I ask a question? How can I go about making sure that I have the correct pronunciation to each Hebrew letter... There are so .any variants..

It's a difficult question. It really depends on your native tongue. Nevertheless, because Israel is a mixture of different cultures, we have many accents. So it's not bad if you have an accent. The worst way to pronounce Hebrew letters is the way that you would pronounce English letters. It doesn't sound so good.

@@hebrewwithdavid Mr.David truly Ty 🙇 for taking time to reply. 😊 I so apologize I asked the question poorly. 😊 I meant the alephbet , letters, I am not certain if having the correct pronunciation, especially for כ,ח, ע, these letters pose a challenge. At the risk of sounding imposing, which apologize for as well; There's a second question regarding the letters, א, ה, ע how could I train my self to begin to understand and detect when which letter is used for "a" sound? Used either at beginning or end of word?☺ If your able to answer Ty 🙇 but if you're not I totally understand Mr. David nevertheless, I truly thank you so much for sharing your lessons.

About the letters כ ח. ח always with no exceptions will sound like a kh sound "jalapeno" is a good word for reference. The letter כ at the beginning of the word will sound like a "k" in 99% of the cases. with some exceptions regarding loan words. At the end of the word it will sound like a kh (jalapeno) and the letter will be ך which is כ that is being written at the end of the word aka khaf sofit. In the middle of the word it really depends. Sometime like a kh sometimes like a k. Regarding א and ע in modern conversational Hebrew there is no difference what so ever in the pronunciation of both letters, so practically speaking both of them will sound like a "a" or "e,i,u,o" (depending on the vowel). ה is silent at the end of the word just like the א. The correct pronunciation of ה is ha.
