So what about the fact that the killer, John Wayne Glover, could have wrote the letter himself? It is a quite common for this to happen, eg Zodiac, jack the ripper.

actually, both the zodiac and the ripper wrote letters to mock the police and gloat about their murders ,they didn't provide a profile of themselves. Etc. And I'm sure the police would have mentioned if he wrote the long letter himself which they didn't and clearly said it was written by a psychic .
