Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is John Williams' best Spielberg movie score. He made a conscious effort not to rely on the Raiders march in it. So you don't even hear it for the first 15 minutes. You get such great, creative, unique action scores for the Young Indy intro, the boat chase in Venice, the motorcycle chase, etc., that only use the Raiders march sparingly. And when you do get the Raiders march, it sounds even more special and great because it's not overused. Last Crusade also has a great theme for the villains, which the first two Indy movies didn't really have. The end credits of Last Crusade are also probably the best the Raiders march has ever been conducted.

Spielberg is such a colorful director. Like seriuosly he has a movie from all of the major genres in cinema. Action - Indinana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark Horror - Jaws War - Saving Private Ryan Drama - Schindler's List Family - E.T the Extra- Terrestrial Sci-Fi - Close Encounters of the Thrid Kind And they are all masterpieces !!!
