Michal Papciak the worst thing is they didn't say why. Even to Seba. He comments on his channel that he did 8 pull ups but then they counted 4. He had no opportunity to eliminate mistakes on time and make "proper" pull ups.

Did you hear'no legs?' This was a few times to hear. In the last exercise u can use ur legs to push the weight up but not so with pull ups I think - u dont jump into pull ups in quater finals with strict rules(as said in the first two quarters).

Awesome battle in the end. But this match also shows one of the reasons I think pullups are so stupid to include in Strength Wars. The judging of them is so inconsistent and arbitrary down to minor perceptions. Every match someone gets stuck despite the pullups seeming just as good as another match where they were accepted. Better to stick with exercises that have more objectively judged reps.

Agree and disagree. See, if you remove bodyweigth exercices, athletes no longer need to care about beeing allround athletes and can just keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger because it will be just like another variant of a powerlifting or strongman competition, and after a few months you'll just see the first 3 places being takken by the likes of Eddie Hall, halfthor, and brian shaw. Bodyweight will just became a gigantic advantage.I do agree that the judjing needs to improve a LOT.Regards

That was so intense! I loved it! The crowd was so loud and cheering on. That was just neck at neck battle. Matt is so young and incredibly strong that's crazy. For him to give faceless a run for his money that's amazing. However faceless comes back with the win again. I love your guys videos and I do want to say this was the most intense battle I've seen so far. Hope to see more to come.

kendal c Marcin had his hand on him, very lightly, for the first few reps that didn't count. Matt had Anabolic Horse do the same - but they counted.

A lot of folks asking what was wrong with the pull ups. Here's what I see. Marcin was lightly touching Faceless/Seba at the bottom of each rep and that's why they didn't count. You can hear Tetzel shout to Marcin. Half way through pull ups, you can see Anabolic Horse doing the same for Matt but they counted and Seba points it out. Not consistent. Not cool.

Well, I've watched the reps over and over again and for me: - first few reps were clean for sure, in the background we can hear "no hands" We could therefore deduce that the reps did not count because of the spotter behind how was touching Faceless but not helping him. Normally in calisthenics competitions it's not allowed, but in my opinion the participant should be informed about it before performing, especially that it's not a specific calisthenics competition. - last reps were not clean probably because of swinging legs or breaking the line of the hips. Hard to say, we did not see the whole movement. In the past I've seen really bad judging in that area, probably that's the first time we could see really strict pull ups, all in all that's good. Congratulations to BOTH participants, the battle was amazing.

Yeah you can see Marcin put his hands on Faceless to help him to be straight on the pull up if he is not the pull up didn't count this is what " strict " is about to my mind into this battle

That judge was GARBAGE from the Faceless on the pull. ups, he had to do nearly twice as many.. Glad to see that at least he won.
