1: Blair has been sitting in that chair for several minutes. And she's standing right there. 2: Jo doesn't move the chair to where she's working. This only makes sense if she deliberately wants Blair to sit in the paint and this is the one time in the whole series she wouldn't do such a thing. 3: When Blair sits in the paint, Jo is still on screen and she just freezes. She's not going to work, she's literally standing there doing nothing until it's finally time for her to turn around and see Blair.
