That is they myth that gets propagated, but it is clear from the NT itself that "Christianity" is the result of one charismatic (magic believing) apocalyptic teacher named Saul/Paul. And if you carefully dissect the gospel versions that made it into the NT there are not 12 but a few more in the story. "12" is a magic number and gets invoked as a result of numerology.

Do you remember who you really are.? When I was very young there was an old man preacher they were about to force him to retirement. And one Sunday he went off sermon and said that he had to go borrow street clothes because if he went to see Jesus speak in his robes the people were too uncomfortable. I looked around the room and there were maybe six of us that heard what he said and knew what he meant. God has given us life eternal. And you are one of the special people in that time I just don't remember which one you were. But God said he's going to bring my memory back. I thank you for your great love of the truth, love of God and your knowledge of Jesus. He didn't claim to be the Messiah, he was just trying to show mankind with their birthright was and help them return to that. So in the future they might be ready for what God is going to bring.

I wonder if there is a subconscious pattern recognition that calculates probabilities based on experience that kicks in and speaks in generalities when "prophesying" creating images that are apocalyptic but the actual "apocalypse" is limited to just the people its presented to , kind of like a warning instinct. And this pattern tends to repeat among nations and cultures. The characters changing but still pertinent. So in this schema of prophecy I would evaluate current political conditions and expect a "'messiah" at certain points of conflict, "reading" the prophetic word into my current situations but not expecting it to affect "the whole world etc". For instance indeed there were types of antichrist that forced buying selling etc for the early christians with a "false christ". So are we to believe they are "raised" from the dead finding themself in an after life currently with all their enemies still stuck in this hellish mortality...very interesting. The "gift of prophecy" would then be valuable and current to all times...and looking for a messiah? Don't we do that all the time (symbolically). ..good thought prompting video but actually I have no idea lol.

I very much enjoy watching your material Dr Tabor, and look forward to much more analysis of the Scriptures. As for Eschatology, it is not a salvation issue, however, thousands upon thousands of scholars have offered all their myriad versions, and the Eschatological questions of Armageddon and the Parousia are indeed important. It is my opinion that none of us shall know completely what entails the end times, until all is revealed in the Glory of the final revelation of each believers life. If I had to call one version that hits the closest explanation is total preterist, with a Spiritual explanation of the events following the AD 70 Armageddon and end of the Jewish dispensation. Full preterism, like all the other views, is not without it's grace problems....lol, So the logical standpoint is stay focused on the Jesus of Nazareth, because afterall, Eschatology is not a salvation issue. Dr. Tabor, I appreciate your compassion and your thirst for Truth as you work so hard to unveil correct words and historical meanings. The end times continually happen. It's a cyclical term. 'Meaning' is established LIKE a Mark. God reveals His glory [meaning among other things] in and through His Word and Holy Spirit. Jesus says time and again that 'his' kingdom is NOT of [ this ] ... I am going to use my pet cat to explain my opinion. My cat is fed a can of cat food , and dry cat food every day. My cat knows this. But she does not understand that there are farms that raise the chicken and the grains. She does not understand the meat and grains have to go to a factory to be made into cat food. She does not understand that the containers such as the cans and bags have to be made in a factory. She does not understand that the cat food is put onto trucks and driven to the grocery store. She does not understand that I have to go to the store and buy it for her. My cat is not CAPABLE of understanding all this. But she has absolute faith that I will feed her every day. I think that is the way it is with humans and God. I don't think we as people are capable of understanding all things that God knows. However I will have faith in God and not worry about not understanding. Things like the end of time and other things are beyond my understanding. But I choose to believe.

I had been working on that channel's videos and working on Dr. Tabor's course on Mark when my grandfather status was called upon for babysitting duties. I think you'll find many fascinating answers and questions regarding Consciousness on that channel. As far as Krishna and Consciousness, I have nothing to add. I see no reason why the archetype labelled by the Western world as Jesus could not also be labelled as or experienced as Krishna in another culture. I do think that our upbringing greatly influences all we experience and all we think about our experiences. I thank you for bringing the subject up and wish you well in your journey.

Later four of those adulterated gospels were canonized with falsely ascribed authorship and a Gnosticism cover-story. It was the finding of an original Gospel of Jesus scroll in Jerusalem that gained the Knights Templar power over the Church and their eventual undoing when the church finally retaliated against them Friday 13th.

A quick comment before a question: More important about the date of January 6 than what happened at the capitol was that on January 6, 1982 Ron Wyatt entered a chamber and found the Ark of the Covenant in a cave 20 feet below the crosshole in Jerusalem. I am certain of it - biblically. A question for anyone knowledgeable, could the tribulation have started as soon as Jesus went up to heaven? I don't know. This could mean there may be multiple beasts or characters from Revelation or Daniel (To which I have little understanding.) Here's why I ask: Revelation 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and COMPANION IN TRIBULATION, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, WAS in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. John said "In tribulation." Did that mean it started way back then? Then the mathmatical models would have to be re-examined. Acts 7:54 On hearing this, the members of the Sanhedrin were enraged,q and they gnashed their teeth at him. 55But STEPHEN, full of the Holy Spirit, LOOKED INTENTLY INTO HEAVEN AND SAW THE GLORY OF GOD AND JESUS STANDING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD. 56“Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” Mark 14:61 But Jesus remained silent and made no reply. Again the high priest questioned Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” 62“I AM,” said Jesus, “AND YOU WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER AND COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN.”m This makes me wonder, will everyone see him in the clouds as they die? This could explain how everyone could see him coming on all sides of the globe. If the heavens roll up like scrolls could that be our eyelids as they close when we die? Our tribulations will have come to an end for everyone is tested. I dont belong to any church so I am free to look at scriptures from any and new angles without fear of offending church leaders but it isn't my intention to offend anyone. I ask in earnest.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Millerites of the 1840s which eventually led to Ellen G. White and the Seventh-day Adventists. She wrote and "explained" the apocalyptic passages in Daniel and Revelation. Remember also the Jehovah's Witnesses and their many failed predictions of the Apocalypse.

The clock is still a clock, so the notion that "the consumption" will always be mistaken has a flaw. Ancients other than the Hebrews knew better than to have a fixed increment of time without an astronomical observation to correct it. So, for example, the "End" was going to be on the 13th Baktun in 2012 ... and then proved merely the end of the 13th baktun. The Hebrews had no concept of a clock, calendar, or years. Everything was based on complete or incomplete verbs. Please use science to recognize there was no science back then and clocks as you know it or time as you know it did not exist. So the appointment times are when things happen based on events which are written. Hebrew will tell you that the bread is cooked when it’s done. Today we would say bake at 405° for 20 minutes. Those last verses in 11 are talking about America, the king of the West. You can see it more clearly in Rev. America does overflow borders and did pitch its tent or embassy in Israel. The king of the south did attack and essentially the king of the north has sent its forces and America overflows Ukraines border and is fighting that proxy war already. I already wrote numerous times that count repeated a second time in 1535 and yes that ‘67 war had to happen for Jerusalem to be recaptured before 62 weeks expired. I’m already told you the end of 69 weeks coincided exactly with great sign in astronomy described in Rev 12 depicting messiah born naturally. Why anyone considered clouds to be literal is beyond me when nothing else in Daniel is literal. So for all your interest in the historical Jesus you’re dropping the mic a bit too presumptuously. Didn’t Daniel say it was sealed up until the end? And now, of all times when things are exploding over there. If they don’t pull out of the rabbinical nosedive there won’t be an Israel as we know it. Things are coming to a head and nothing is going to stop this train anymore unless somehow the rabbis repent. That timeline of 70 weeks was dead on target when Jesus came but he never completed the deal so it started a second time. God doesn’t make mistakes and the 7 and 62 week segments shows both comings in chiastic form.

@@Stonezster I’m the guy in Rev who had to suffer but I’ve been given the scrolls to unseal. It includes all the prophets including Isa. You’ve never heard these interpretations before but it’s a miracle because a child can understand those 70 weeks and no one has a better interpretation. How did they miss that second command by the Ottomans? Or even worse how it lined up with recapture of Jerusalem after 62 weeks and then culminating with that sign of the Virgin. It’s not rocket science but you can see the disconnect when this interpretation is presented to scholars and rabbis that already have their set opinions. A better question is to ask the rabbis and pastors how they missed it. I have to conclude they’ve been intentionally blinded and can’t blame it all on their biases. I really like Tabor but he’s blinded because he listens to the rabbis too much basing his opinions on their suspect interpretations particularly on the suffering servant passages. It makes it impossible for him to see Daniel any other way and why he seems to want to drop the mic and defer to the rabbis.

@@KendraAndTheLaw Makes perfect sense from Mark’s perspective. He didn’t need to include resurrection narrative because both him and Jesus were reading he would fail. The timing also. Why did Jesus instruct them to keep it a secret until he went to Jerusalem? He was looking at the years and counting from 457BCE meaning he was trying to stay alive until those last 7 years. He didn’t need to reach the end of 70 weeks. Because of the 62 and 7 week segments and the way the Hebrew is written, it implies a messiah after both coming. So the count started a second time in 1535 by Ottomans. 62 weeks later Jerusalem recaptured fulfilling that portion and 7 weeks later at end of 69 weeks sign of the Virgin in Rev 12 occurred in the sky. That was on 9/23/2017. So the prophecy of Daniel was sealed just as it’s written and of course the gospel writers seemed clueless. But Mark’s sudden ending implies he knew and they were anticipating act 4. That never came and Mark had no reason to complete the narrative apparently dying before he could. Clearly Jesus was reading it that way and also believing he was also the prince who is to come too. He warned the Jews what his followers would do to the Jews and he nailed it perfectly.

Quickly said, Pilot dressed Jesus up as King, Pilot presented Jesus to the Sanhedrin and high priest among the crowd as "their King". Told the crowd to choose to crucify "their King" or Barabbas. The Saducees and High Priest chose "their king" Jesus to be crucified and instigated the Jewish crowd to choose "their King" to be crucified..... and so the Priesthood anointed Jesus as their king in order for him to be executed. And Pilat published this fact above Jesus head at a time when Jerusalem was most crowded of Jews from all over the realm. What this accomplished was to legalize according to Torah law Jesus' amended covenant and make irrelevant all burdensome Talmudic rules. I think Jesus and Pilat planned it together. Neet trick on the Sanhedrin huh.

Of course, I think this leads to exploration of the “race“ DNA of the Egyptian people. If Moses was able to go down to Egypt, or to be found there… I’m grow up, as basically y one of them. So far… And what I have studied… There are conventions for portraying, men and women in Egyptian art… But they don’t especially seem to have been race conscious. But I don’t know low power. There certainly is a strong movement to connect or reconnect remember that Egypt is part of Africa. And to make the case that there are strong and definite links between Egypt and sub-Saharan Africa… I’d like to say that I’m always open to the truth.

@@johnnyxmusic And All of North Africa was not the same peoples as Sub-Saharan Africa. Those of Lower Egypt were very different than Upper Egypt. Lower Egypt had people more from the Levant, the Hyksos lived in Egypt, they were a Canaanite people. In Upper Egypt was Nubians. The Nubians only ruled in Lower Egypt for 110 years.

The Gospel of Jesus was originally one book, written by Lazarus in consultation with the Apostles [John 21:24] and published soon after Jesus left them on their own. The religion was hijacked by Rome, the Gospel was broken up scrambled adulterated into a bunch of competing narratives. Later four of those adulterated gospels were canonized with falsely ascribed authorship and a Gnosticism cover-story. It was the finding of an original Gospel of Jesus scroll in Jerusalem that gained the Knights Templar power over the Church and their eventual undoing when the church finally retaliated against them Friday 13th.

That very same verse make that clear. 24 This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. "WE know that HIS testimony is TRUE"... That's not something an eye witness would say...

There claim of what the Q document was never existed. These gospels were all derived from the original that Lazarus wrote. "How do you know it was written by Lazarus?" - Because the Gospel testimony ITSELF tells us so. John 21:24 "This is the disciple[whom Jesus loved/ Lazarus] which testifieth of these things, AND WROTE THESE THINGS: and we[Apostles] know that his testimony is true." The Apostles/"we" did say. They dictated their deposition testimony to Lazarus, a trained Pharisee Lawyer Hebrew scribe who composed (wrote these things) all the witnesses/"we" (who know what is true) testimony into one testimony. Why would it be done any other way? and that is what 21:24 tells us.
