I think the problem comes in translating pistis as faith instead of faithfulness in our English translations. Faithfulness suggests an applied faith, as opposed to me just having faith in the Pythagorian theorum.

This is before the sources of light existed. But *_"Light"_* in the spiritual context means something else, entirely. Instead of electromagnetic radiation, Light merely means that agency which *_Allows Awareness._* This is the first ingredient required before *_any_* creator begins a creation: *_Awareness._* ALL of Genesis 1 seems to be merely a template for physical creation -- sort of a blueprint. In the realm of software development, this might be called an "object" yet to be instantiated. Genesis 2.3-4 give us the *_Active Ingredient_* of instantiation -- Resting -- or perhaps, "withdrawing active responsibility." For when you ADD active responsibility to any created thing, it ceases to have the dimension we commonly refer to as "time" or "persistence."
