André Villas Boas. That's probably a name that you haven't heard in a long time, unless your portuguese of course.
After all, despite being the 5th youngest Premier League manager and being dubbed by many the future Special One, his managerial career never really ammounted to anything.
To most fans he was a joke, while others completely forgot him.... But for FC Porto fans, he was their white knight, who was destined to save them from the cancers that were rotting the once unstoppable portuguese giants.

Acho que centraste o conteúdo do vídeo demasiado no Pinto da Costa e nos outros desacatos que aconteceram, tens alguns factos mas também falas de coisas que não tens a certeza nem sabes, não defendo ninguém mas também não gosto de ouvir coisas que não tem factos concretos. Como sócio do FC Porto, acho que devias ter falado mais no vídeo sobre a jornada do André Villas-Boas sobre o passado, futuro e presente e não nas outras coisas como o título do vídeo assim o diz. Failed manager? won a Europe League with Porto, a portuguese league without losses, Chelsea players already admited their fault on AVB being sacked and won Champions in the same year. How can he be a failed manager???

Chelsea won the Champions League after he left. He wasted all the money from Bale's transfer on flops and did nothing to elevate either club. If you can only succeed in one club, then proceed to flop in every other job you are objectively a failed manager. Slimani was a very successful striker in Portugal but failed everywhere else, therefore he could be seen as a failed player. There's nothing to be pissed off about, it's just a title

In wikipedia you can read: "the most successful coach in charge of Spurs since 1992, having won 54% of his games in the Premier League and having won 6 games out of a total of 6 in Group K of the Europa League, the London club decided that it would be best to dismiss Vilas-Boas , to everyone's surprise, including the club's players and fans". Failed manager? In his first European Competition managing a club he won the Europa League, he only missed 1 title out of 5 in that season(2010/2011). You're the one who failed miserably by having a KZbin channel man! Do your research and create content that's worth watching.

He failed as a manager. Failed in Chelsea, Spurs and Marseille.

@@ThroneFC he didn't failed at Chelsea! Chelsea players took the blame for him. John Terry and Didier Drogba acknowledges that they were not doing good but that wasn't the manage problems

No, they did not. AVB wanted to get rid of Drogba, Terry, Cole and others which turned the entire squad against him. Plus, AVB kept insisting on rotating the squad a lot which cost them a lot of points in the Prem. The fact that Drogba was essential to that UCL triumph is just another point to prove that his philosophy wasn't going to lead the club to glory. Then he went to Spurs and was given freedom to do whatever he wanted and look what happened after. 100M€ wasted. I got nothing against AVB, I believe he could be a great president but he objectively failed as a manager.
