TBH I very much doubt any (or, very very few) will be paid out. Insurance is always tryna weasel out of paying, and quite frankly how do you get water in your engine during normal driving? And to the extent that it stalls it? Next to impossible unless you’re driving in deep water (or in these cases fords) and when insurance will ask where the incident happened they’ll investigate, blame the flooded ford and deny claims due to reckless driving and that it was self caused. So I do believe almost everyone in this video has to pay out of their own pockets.

It's taught me about hydrolocking which I'd never heard of and I've learnt more about how an engine works, so I've definitely learnt something. I'd never drive through a flood anyway as it just never seemed like a good idea, and now I'm glad. I've told others about this channel too and what happens to the car, so it is helping to spread awareness I think
