I know not what way he came, no shadow fell behind, But all the sighing rushes swayed beneath a fairy wind: The thrush ceased its singing, a mist crept about, We two clung together-with the world shut out. Beyond the ghostly mist I could hear my cattle low. The little cow from Ballina, clean as driven snow. The dun cow from Kerry, the roan from Inisheer, Oh, pitiful their calling-and his whispers in my ear! His eyes were a fire; his words were a snare; I cried my mother's name, but no help was there; I made the blessed Sign: then he gave a dreary moan, A wisp of cloud went floating by, and I stood alone. - The Love Talker by Ethna Carbery

I never mentioned how much I love your theme music - just mesmerizing. These stories were unusual and fascinating.

Ahhh these were so interesting! That first one especially~ There's just something so oddly terrifying yet fascinating about a Fairy trying to seduce you so he can eat you... It does sound pretty on brand. And with how many people have stories of black haired men with blue eyes seducing them as well, I wonder if these girls will eventually all meet up and gang up on him. He's bound to have a harem of heartbroken lovers building up quite a bit at this point. Thank you so much for these! This truly made my week! Happy Holidays, SFG~!
@alexwelts255311 күн бұрын
From what I have seen, it's a long process and succession of fairy men that use up your energy and strength and resources, break your will and sense of self, while extinguishing your fire and isolating your support system and credibility. Not to necessarily eat you, but when you die alone unprotected, they want the larvae and they worked long and diligently as a team for it. Unfortunately by the time you realize what has been going on, you realize your family is part of it. Unfortunately this has been my experience.

Could be a good story. A group of human women team up to find the fairy lover who broke their hearts. But first they have to find him, and bind him before he can escape back to the fairy world forever. 😉 Happy Holidays to you too, Katie!

Here I was during the afternoon, finishing the last videos I had to watch from this channel, and when I came here proudly to coment I had oficially cleared the Channel, there was a new video, hahahaha. AND THEN I WATCHED THIS ONE AS WELL!!! UHUULL! So now it's oficial, I HAVE WATCHED EVERY SINGLE VIDEO OF THIS CHANNEL!! Including the livestreams and the only shorts, haha. Love this content. One day when I have a better financial condition, I will buy The Ghosts of Nothing. Here in Brazil it is really expensive, but i will, in time, buy it.

Story 1. Girl met a Kitsune! I wonder if the liver of a human heightens his powes, gives him better powers? The liver is often the first and sometimes only organ taken and devoured by many different carnivores, eg: The dingo here in Australia will often rip out the liver of sheep, leaving the sheep to die in agony, unless of course there are other dingo family members there. Orcas love tracking Great White sharks and ripping their livers out. Of course its due to the nutrional value. I wonder if the gift (shamanic mirror) the old mountain man gave the girl is to be used as a way for her to see through the glamour to who and what the being truly is? A way to protect herself and not fall prey to pretty faces again.

I love the korean story. Im a big fan of east asian folklore. The shapeshifting fox is found in japanese,chinese and korean folklore. Most stories have them as female but some can be male. So i love to hear a story when its a male one

Human men have been a disappointing fact of life rather than something I looked forward to "dating/marrying" as a kid. To be honest... wait. I can't be the only woman who, despite all of the cautionary tales they've read, wants to meet fairies and possibly find romance among them.

The only thing I’ve ever had happen in this vein is one time I had a very vividly realistic dream of being in the forest in a small cave with a male draped in what looked like a bear fur and once we were done he gave me this guilty little grin. Fast forward maybe a year and I become friends with someone who is extremely similar to who I saw in my dream, so I’m convinced this one’s part Fae and may not even realize it
