If you look at colours from a theatrics pov, you’ll see that purple = royalty, green = wealth, blue = innocence etc. When we first meet the fairy godmother, she is wearing a blue dress to symbolise innocence, especially since we don’t know her yet. In her number at the end of the film she is wearing red (red = danger) because by then we have found out she’s a villain. Really like that little detail Dreamworks put in there Edit: i just searched it up, white is actually innocence, blue is coolness, which makes sense as she tries to not lose her head at the start
