It was certainly a wild ride this year. All the injuries: the uncertainty: the doubt rising. Then the ruthless execution when it mattered in the quarterfinals, semi final and, finally, the FINAL itself. Well done to the massive number (was it 45?) of Crusaders used over just this year, to provide the ultimate prize. Thanks guys. Cheers.

I left Christchurch in '95, but the love for Canterbury and the Crusaders will never leave me. What an amazing win considering how many players were out, but the boys found a way. The depth of the squad, the readniness of the fringe players to step up and perform so well was absolutely brilliant. That's why the Crusaders have been successful for so long. Their ability to find and foster quality young players. It's second to none. Such a fitting finish to the season and a wonderful result for the departing players and staff.
