The one weakness to this start is that the Hud on the side of the screen shows what teams still have their beds, so if the attacker goes there, sees the bed missing, and looks at the Hud, he'll realize the trick, and the jigs up. The ideal gimmick would probably be dependent on what blocks are available in bedwars ( I don't play bedwars much so I wouldn't know ) If things like sand and signs are available, one could make a rather expensive trap where Apon breaking a block of sand, it breaks a sign, which breaks a sign, which leads to a massive pile of sand to fall from the heavens. Demonstration: (the ||| is a sign, the [=] is sand, and the [===] is where the bed is presumed to be for the victim) [=][=][=] [=][=][=] [=][=][=] [=] ||| ||| ||| ||| ||| [=] [=] [=] [=] [=] ||| ||| ||| [=] [=] [===] [=] Or, in simpler terms, having a simple, cheap defense where the attacker breaks one of the blocks next to the bed, which starts a chain reaction that ends with a lot of sand dropping on them. This is the Ideal gimmick in that scenario, because it is Really Funny. Ideally, it would wrap the signs under the fake defense shown in the video so it would be less obvious, but I can't think of a way to make a chain reaction go _down_ in Minecraft without things that I highly doubt are in bedwars, unless things like pistons and pressure plates are a thing in bedwars.
