Any glitches within the bounds of the game are allowed in those categories with extremely rare exceptions. The world's first is just.. the first in the world to complete the easter egg. I've never understood the hype behind easter eggs. It was cool here and there, but when it became quest like, I just couldn't be bothered. I like little easter eggs like songs, or nods to other games, or shout-outs to lore amung the fan base. If you actually got something from doing the long ones, maybe I'd do it more, but the work outweighs the reward, in my opinion.

This isn't me defending Syndicate but the video upload isn't good evidence as people think that other can't debunk it. Theres a difference between glitches and exploits. Most speedruns have a separate category for glitch less the reason why he didn't get considered to beat it first after, beating it first is because he does not have a group of fanboys behind him.

got a question about the Syndicate run, cause something isn't making a whole lot of sense to me (I may have missed you say this if you did, sorry). Let's say he was splicing together rounds and stuff, he still has the round show up in the bottom corner though. So is he just photoshopping the round number into the bottom corner or did he actually do a run that got up to that round. If he did the round, then I see no problem other than the videos just being pretty confusing then. Obviously, if he is photoshopping, then I see the issue.
