I finally got to see this! It won't enlarge- took forever to load, but I saw it to its completion finally! All I want to say on these Cornwall videos is how much they mean to me-and what wonderful memories they bring back-that haven't even left! I thought you were going to show Falmouth Harbor, etc. Save that for another video! It was cold, Mr.Seagull3 ;-), really cold and windy but worth it all! I enjoyed stopping in Truro and seeing the church as well. Loved everything! Thanks, Tony!

A journey that I've done so many times. I can't believe that my father turned down the chance to run the King Harry Ferry in the 1960s. Idyllic in the right weather but bleak in the winter.

Thank you for this video! It inspired me to take the ferry and challenge myself to film it. Sadly for me though, COVID meant I could only try to St Mawes and Flushing routes...

I have fond memories of my parents taking me on this river many times as a child. I'm in my 50's now.

Thanks for this I thought I was going senile because of a fuzzy memory from 25+ years ago when holidaying in Falmouth. It was a flaky vision of a Falmouth ferry venturing up a small creek incredulously festooned with massive ships silently anchored without a soul on board. It was like a scene from an apocalypse movie which as years have passed I began to think was just some sort of weird dream on my part - seems not - I haven't gone completely nuts then .... phew!

Informative film on a favourite part of Cornwall - looks a bit chilly but mercifully dry. Good to know that the fortifications against Catholic France and Spain are still in good order - now we are all Europeans they will no doubt not be needed in the future!
