Making anyone from Alias cry rips me apart. When I heard he was in this I was excited. I thought maybe Cle Bennett would be his flashback when the show was first announced. Bennett is a phenomenal actor. As a person he's charming and confident but has no arrogance or ego. Best attitude on set. Hope he gets to come back in flashbacks.

Honestly I would've loved if after the shot of his statue fading to black it just cut to credits, that extra party montage felt really tacked on after such an amazing scene and it had such an abrupt ending compared to the Isaiah scene which played out perfectly.

I just wished he’d passed by the Peggy Carter exhibit afterwards, frozen and said “the nurse that helped me, that’s her.” Till the MCU tells me otherwise, I’m going to hold to my theory that the “nurse” was Peggy Carter having learned what was happening to Isaiah.

I have this little detail that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! with when Bucky was saving the people from the burning car, he used his metal arm and they said thank you for saving them, meaning Bucky could finally see how he can still use the Winter Soldier part of him to help people and be good. After that scene, he started to pretty much only using his metal arm to fight the Flag Smashers and I just love that tiny detail that he could see that he is in fact free.

The ending with everyone at the community picnic on the boat is underappreciated. It shows that Bucky finally has what he's wanted. He finally has a family and friends and something of a normal life where he's loved not feared. At the start of the series, it's clear that the shield is all he has left of his previous life and this is the start of a new one.

It wasn’t till my rewatch that I noticed that Sam used his wings to shield the Helicopter pilot from the crashing helicopter. That is 💯 Captain America. Emily Van Camp is one of the best actors of generation for playing subtlety manipulative characters, love this angle for Sharon, another commenter pointed out a future announced MCU project that Sharon is setting up, Armour Wars. I’m wondering if we might find out a more about Sharon in the Hawkeye series. During his years as Ronin was Hawkeye hunting the Power Broker, or based on their past Shield history did Sharon manipulate Clint into creating a power vacuum for her to fill. While I didn’t love that we didn’t see a full scene of Bucky talking with his friend, hands down the best Bucky scene was him playing with Sam’s nephews at the end, seeing Bucky laughing and smiling was something we’ve all needed for years.

I think it’s the other way around part of the reason why Hawkeye was taking out international things was to create a power vacuum that Sharon could enter into end get high enough to find whoever she is reporting into at the end

@@lovinlorne yeah exactly. I feel like there's not much more they could have shown us in that scene - all we would have seen is possibly Yori crying and then telling Bucky to get out. We don't really need to see that. Not only would it take focus away from Bucky's emotions (which is what the story is about), it would also feel like another hit to Bucky when it's supposed to be more a slightly hopeful "Bucky finally making amends" vibe. And the scene where you see Bucky watch Yori in the restaurant, something they did weekly, I feel really hits home that Bucky sacrificed his friendship to give Yori closure more than seeing Yori cry would have done (and the small smile Bucky did as he walked away also kept up that feeling of hope that Bucky is finally healing)

This is what I've been waiting for, seeing your reactions to the new suit. Damn, that shit is FIRE! XD Also, the Isaiah Bradley scene made me weep. Honestly, this show, along with WandaVision, has just made me love Marvel even more. Their comeback after Pandemic 2020 is as solid as Cap's shield. What a time to be alive! :D

I watched that helicopter ass-whoopin’ takedown like 100 times! This episode had pretty much everything including the super cheesy saccharine bbq scene that still featured Bucky flirting with Sarah. I even yelled Crouuunch when Bucky walloped the flag smasher with the I-beam and when Sam ricocheted the shield off like five of them in a row. Not possible according to physics, but I don’t care... it was cool.

Man watching you guys cry and get emotional meant so much to me as a black man it was the moments that meant so much to me in the show and brought out those emotions in me and to see you guys going through it at the same parts in the same way was so cathartic and emotional for me I had a stronger reaction to your reactions than to the show itself thank you so much for sharing that and showing it

This episode was so freaking good! I didn’t realize how much I wanted to see Sam except and embrace the mantle of captain America until I saw this episode. The modified Cap music when he crashed through the window and that speech he gave gave me chills! Steve would be so so proud if he could see him now. And Sharon being confirmed as the power broker and John Walker becoming US agent gave us a lot of juicy material to work with if there’s another season. Did anyone else get hella emotional when Izyah got his own statue honoring him? He freaking deserved that. I need more Sam in that suit! And I was so happy to see Bucky giving Yuri and everyone else closure. This episode was everything I wanted and more! I was right to be excited.

It's an amazing finale. The person who made Sam's suit (as well as Wanda's) deserves a damn raise. Glad that Walker had his 'redemption' scene and we finally got U.S.Agent. And the scene with Isaiah in the museum made me tear up. We all know Zemo's dancing in his head when he heard that the super soldiers were torched. Ngl, I hoped that Sharon wasn't Power Broker since it was going to be too obvious but hey, if they made sure she's going to be an interesting villain and a cunning bad ass all the way, then I'm all in.
